10. Gardens

Olympus is easily the best map in Apex, it's not even close. That means that it was hard to create a list of the best ten locations, so don't take any of these in actual order. Just because Gardens is number ten on this list, doesn't mean it's bad. Gardens has some fantastic loot, especially for a location on the outer rim of Olympus. 

Luckily, Olympus is quite small, meaning you are never far away from some action. Land here for a great early-game battle, some good loot and a great rotation point into some of the better parts of the map.

What Makes Gardens So Great:

• Great loot for a POI on the outer rim of the map
• Has great rotations into Energy Depot and Clinic
• Perfect for a great early game fight as it's quite populated

9. Elysium

Now, if only Elysium was closer to some of the best places on the map, then damn it would be near the top that's for sure. Despite being a small map, some locations are still hard to rotate from, and one of those is Elysium. The thing is though, this place is fantastic if you can make it work. The loot here is insane, and it's even got a balloon tower for rotations. The only reason it's not higher is because it's quite far out, possibly one of the farthest POIs from the action on Olympus.

What Makes Elysium So Great:

• Land here for two guaranteed purple items in the middle or possibly even a gold gun or item.
• Has great rotations because of the balloon but is quite far away from the action even with that.
• Is great for ranked as not many people will land here and you get that sweet loot before anyone.

8. Energy Depot

Now this is the hub of Olympus, but that doesn't make it the best place on the map. Many streamers land here for quick and early game fights as it's like this map’s fragment. Everyone and their mother lands here lol. Despite that, the loot here isn't all that great and most of the time you might not even get a gun. 

The only reason Energy Depot is on this list is because it's so popular, I just kinda had to. It's not terrible, and there are definitely worse places to land, but just know everyone is gonna be on your back as soon as you hit the floor. Good luck.

What Makes Energy Depot So Great:

• Has decent loot, meaning you might get lucky with purple gear.
• Perfect for those who want to fight early and ask questions later
• Finally, it's a decent place to rotate through as it's the central hub of the map for most.

7. Fight Night

God, I wish I could place this higher, but the other locations are just better. My favourite location on the map has to be fight night. The loot here is insane. Gold and purple items in the boxing ring where you can't even get shot, it's crazy. 

The rotations out of here are perfect with balloons, zip lines and just close places to move to. it's a great location, but the others on this list are just sadly better. Land at fight night for great early-game battles and some phenomenal loot, you won't regret it.

What Makes Fight Night So Great:

• Has guaranteed purple and gold loot in the middle, which is pretty self-explanatory
• Perfect for those who want to fight early and ask questions later
• Finally, it's a decent place to rotate through as it's near the centre of the map and you can clean up loot people have forgotten about.

6. Estates

Now this one might be a little controversial. Remember when I said Energy Depot was where most of the lobby lands? Where this is where the rest of the lobby ends up going. Estates is usually so highly populated that most of the lobby ends up dying here. It's because the loot here is fantastic for how small the area is. 

You can get into fights easily and keep going until everyone is dead or has run away. It's the perfect location for early fights on Olympus, that's if people don't land at our other 5 locations.

• Tends to have crafting most games so if you win the fights, you are rewarded with medical supplies and better attachments.

5. Bonsai Plaza

Bonsai is yet another fantastic location to land on Olympus. This area is insane for fighting in as there are so many different levels. From the bottom floor near the bike racks, all the way up to the skyscraper lounge areas where some of the best loot is. it's hectic, fast-paced and best of all full of insane loot to carry your squad to victory

• Perfect for those who want to fight early and ask questions later
• Great loot for anyone who lands there as each area usually has a gun or good attachments
• Tends to have crafting most games so if you win the fights, you are rewarded with medical supplies and better attachments.

4. Docks

Now, Docks being on this list might be a bit weird to some but stay with me. No matter what you say, Docks is a pretty good location on its own. it's open, but not too open that you just get shot from nowhere. The general loot pool here is pretty create and if crafting is here it's even better. Each building is fun to fight in and it's got good progression through them if you're caught up in a fight. 

The thing is though, Docks has a special loot bin at the far back of the map that makes it insane. This one loot bin can contain a gold item most of the time, but can also give you a purple shield and even a fully-kitted gun if you're lucky. It's so good man, check it out for yourself.

What Makes Docks So Great:

• Great loot for anyone who lands there as every building usually has a gun or good attachments
• Tends to have crafting most games so if you win the fights, you are rewarded with medical supplies and better attachments.
• The loot bin at the back is insane and feels like cheating if you get lucky.

3. Solar Array

The top three, ooooh boy let's get into it. Solar Array is such a great location, it's underrated. It's basically in the middle of the map and can be rotated from or into. It's around the corner from Icarus with its insane loot vault. Yeah, it's that close that Loba can ult in the back and grab some good loot with ease. 

The location itself is based around the sniper building in the middle. Land here for a perfect sniper rifle in most games and some of the best attachments in the game. The side buildings have more than enough loot as well for a great fight. 

What Makes Solar Array So Great:

• Its proximity to the middle of the map makes it fab for rotating into more fights
• If you're a sniper then this place is a haven for attachments and now the low drop rate Charge Rifle in season 17
• Finally, don't forget the underground loot area that can give you guns in a pinch.
• It has a high likelihood of being the “hot drop” as well, so more loot to go around.

2. Phase Driver

Phase Driver, what hasn't been said about this place? Just like every other location on this map, it's got great loot, fun fights and a nice flow. We don't need to cover that again, you just wanna know why it's good right? Well, it's of course the loot spawner in the middle. The Phase Driver in the middle of this POI can be accessed from both sides with a button console. Press this to summon three loot pods. 

The vast majority of the time you will get two purple’s and a blue, but sometimes you can get that sweet sweet gold drop. It's so good for looting up quickly, and if you stick around you can press it multiple times. Damn, what a great location, but not as good as the final spot.

What Makes Phase Driver So Great:

• Perfect for those who want to fight early and ask questions later
• Great loot for anyone who lands there as every building usually has a gun or good attachments
• Tends to have crafting most games so if you win the fights, you are rewarded with medical supplies and better attachments.
• The loot area in the middle is perfect for kitting out your guns or getting better armour
• Landing here in ranked is also great for consistent loot and access to the far side of Olympus for ratting.

1. Clinic

And finally, Clinic is at the top spot of the list, and for good reason. Many probably assumed Estates or Hammond Labs would have been at the top, but in reality, Clinic is perfect. Despite it being at the far corner of the map, it's right next to Gardens and we all know how great it feels to rotate out of there. 

Clinic has some amazing loot, access to a lifeline drop you can call in the back and finally the healing pad in the middle. Stand on here to get a lifeline drone to heal whilst fighting or after you've wiped a squad. You can also find a purple shield, phoenix kit or a purple bag in the middle of most games as well. What more is there to say about the Clinic? It's perfect.

What Makes Clinic So Great:

• Perfect for those who want to fight early and ask questions later
• Great loot for anyone who lands there as it's full of Pills and that lifeline package is great for medical supplies
• The healing area in the middle combined with the lifeline package makes it the best way to heal up after a fight and then move into another POI for a nice after fight.
• Such a great location, definitely try it out.
