An unparalleled adrenaline rush, a gripping storyline, and unimaginable horrors await you. Witness the return of Resident Evil 2.

You can play Claire and Leon in this game, and they go through different storylines. Claire’s a pretty badass character, and we can see how she cares about her brother and a little girl she just met (Sherry). I had a lot of fun playing with Claire, and I’m sure you will too.

How is she so beautiful even when all dirty?

What it’s about: Tomb Raider explores the intense origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor.

Lara is a survivor, and she is going to fight like hell to escape this terrible island, but first she has to solve the mysteries of this horrible place to get out of there. And also, the other games are as immersive as this, so you have a lot of games to play with Lara and be impressed by her badass survival tactics.

13 - The Last of Us Part II

She’s definitely her father’s daughter

What it’s about: Set five years after The Last of Us (2013), the game focuses on two playable characters in a post-apocalyptic United States whose lives intertwine: Ellie, who sets out in revenge for a murder, and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict between her militia and a religious cult.

This storyline is definitely one of my favorite ones of all time. Ellie is just so blinded by revenge, same as Abby, and they both just want justice for their dads in this horrible world. I really liked the ending. We see that not everything is black and white and we also see Abby continuing the trajectory of taking care of innocent and young children we found along the way.

Choose this game if you like: 

• In this emotionally charged and complex story, there are a lot of moral conflicts that are going to defy your concepts of wrong and right.
• The world is beautiful; there are a lot of locations to visit, and they are very realistic and detailed.
• It is an intense and addictive action game with advanced battles and challenges.

 

12 - Life is Strange

Such cutie girlfriends, you wouldn’t know how much angst they give us

What it’s about: Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price. The two are soon drawn into an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber.

Max is a very charismatic character, and you’ll be involved with her and her history. Her powers are amazing, and we get to have a lot of fun, but her powers also have consequences. So this emotional story will leave you wanting more of the amazing female characters in this game.

Choose this game if you like: 

• There are multiple endings, and your choices will lead you to them. Choose carefully.
• If you don’t like a situation, you can always rewind time and try again, but there may be consequences.
• A wonderful adventure with licensed indie music and a breath-taking scenario

 

11 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Okay they’re messing with my bissexuality

What it’s about: Choose your fate in Assassin's Creed® Odyssey. From outcast to living legend, embark on an odyssey to uncover the secrets of your past and change the fate of Ancient Greece.

Now you can explore Ancient Greece with Kassandra and try to uncover the secrets of your past. Your decisions will impact your gameplay. And you can choose if you want to be your brother’s friend or enemy. Rise as a great warrior and conquer the city. Just be careful with your ego, a lot of great conquerors died because of it.

• You can travel to beautiful forests and unstable volcanic islands in Ancient Greece.
• Your decisions matter; there are multiple endings you can unlock that impact the gameplay.
• There are amazing battles between Athens and Sparta with a lot of soldiers that will put your warrior skills to the test.

 

10 - Resident Evil 3

Jill will always be the main character, even when there is a gigantic monster cloud above her

What Is It About: Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes its ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis!

Jill is trying to figure out the truth about what happened years ago. And now there is a crazy T-Virus monster chasing her while she is running from zombies and trying to save the city and find a cure. It's safe to say she is a badass, and I’m very excited to play Jill again someday.

9 - Celeste

Literally us trying to pursue our dreams as they run away

What it’s about: Help Madeline survive her inner demons on her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain in this super-tight platformer from the creators of TowerFall. Brave hundreds of hand-crafted challenges, uncover devious secrets, and piece together the mystery of the mountain.

It is a wonderful game to play and reflect on; you can relax while solving mysteries and let the gameplay really sink in. And this game features a trans woman, which is pretty cool since cis women are not often portrayed, let alone trans women.

Choose this game if you like: 

• With a great story of self-discovery and amazing characters, you’ll definitely get emotional.
• A beautiful scene in the mountains with a lot of challenges and secrets
• Wonderful original music that will make your experience 10 times better.

 

8 - Night in the Woods

What it’s about: Night in The Woods is an adventure game focused on exploration, story, and character, featuring dozens of characters to meet and lots to do across a lush, vibrant world.

Mae is a character who dropped out of college and went back to her hometown. But she feels disconnected from her friends. The story features a lot of relatable characters.. While Mae is pansexual, she is just trying to fit in again and build up her friendships. And her friends all have struggles that we can relate to.

Choose this game if you like: 

• An adventure with a lot of characters to interact with
• There’s something mysterious in the woods. Are you going to investigate it?
• A non-romantic gameplay that focuses on friendship and solving mysteries.

 

7 - The Walking Dead Season 4

Poor AJ, but don’t, Clementine will protect you!

What it’s about: Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road, facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice.

Now Clementine is alone with a little child depending on her. exactly like her father figure. She will have to teach AJ the things Lee taught her and also keep them safe. It is going to be a difficult path, and you’ll have to learn how to keep both of them alive.

Choose this game if you like: 

• In this very emotional story, you are trying to teach a little child how to survive in the zombie apocalypse while dealing with a lot of trauma.
• You decide how the story ends; it can end in tragedy or in a hopeful ending; the destiny of the players is in your hands.
• The scenario is very engaging and makes you feel the post-apocalyptic environment. Enjoy the beautiful view.

 

6 - Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose

Honestly, relatable, Rose. Who hasn't stared blankly at a place where we were once brought as babies to be the host of a centuries-old child?

What it’s about: A new scenario starring a grown-up Rose, Ethan's beloved daughter, whose kidnapping as a baby kicked off the original Village story.

You can go back to the village in "Realm of Consciousness" as Rose explores the same path she took when she was a baby. You can see her struggling with her superpowers and feeling a lot of self-pity. Reminisce about your gameplay with Ethan through his daughter, and try to keep her alive the same way he did. You’ll also encounter old enemies.  It’s good thing you already know how to kill them, right?

Choose this game if you like: 

• Try to find answers to a mystery that happened years ago.
• A unique combat mode with Rose and her powers.
• Great graphics will make the horror come to life.

What it’s about: Alex Chen hides her 'curse': the psychic power of Empathy, the ability to absorb the emotions of others. When her brother dies in a so-called accident, Alex must embrace her power to find the truth.

Alex is a pretty relatable character, and you’ll see her go through grief and a lot of different emotions. She also has very complicated powers that none of us really wants to have. But it is cool to play as her and uncover the truths.

• Discover the secrets behind your brother's death.
• Choose your romantic interest.
• Cool empathic powers.

 

4 - Tell Me Why

2020 (Xbox One/Microsoft Windows)

Alyson, babe, are you okay? She looks like she wants to murder her brother. Honestly relatable

What it’s about: Tell Me Why is the multi-award-winning episodic adventure game from Dontnod Entertainment in which twins use their supernatural bond to discover the truth of their troubled past.

You’ll play with two main characters; Alyson is one of them, and she deals with anxiety. You’ll be immersed in the story and sympathize with her character. They made her a very relatable character, and you can prepare yourself for some tears coming your way.

Choose this game if you like: 

• You can use the twins' abilities to find their lost childhood memories.
• You have to figure out the truth by solving a lot of puzzles that are going to lead you to the twins' fantasy world.
• The way you play and the choices you make will determine the twins' future. You have all the power.

 

3 - Detroit Become Human

2018 (PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Microsoft Windows)

They look like they’re in a band together

What it’s about: Detroit: Become Human puts the destiny of both mankind and androids in your hands, taking you to a near future where machines have become more intelligent than humans. Every choice you make affects the outcome of the game, with one of the most intricately branching narratives ever created.

You play with three main characters, and Kara is one of them. She is an amazing character that had to endure the abuse of her ‘’buyer’’, but fortunately she can break free and help a little child be free too.

Choose this game if you like: 

• Many different endings.
• Emotional gameplay.
• There are many moral dilemmas.

 

2 - Hogwarts Legacy

Beautiful castle…Unfortunately that a lot of evil things tend to happen there

What it’s about: Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world.

HP games are usually dominated by male characters, so it is nice that we can choose a female character to play with and experience new and exciting magical stories. You can be your own Hermione now.

• Experience the 1800s in the Wizard World.
• Discover the secrets behind the mysterious key you found.

 

1 - Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways

Boss getting ready to get things done. Ada is such a badass

What it’s about: Separate Ways (known as the another order in Japan) is a minigame in all releases of Resident Evil 4 after the GameCube version, with the exception of the VR port (as of 11/27/2021). It is unlocked by completing the main game.

Everybody wants to be Ada. She is the coolest character and gets the job done. You’ll see Ada do her usual badass things, and you'll get to be a part of that! As usual, she will give some help to Leon and save the game. But she also kept her entrepreneurial business going.
