[Top 3] GTA Online Imperators To Own (Ranked Good To Best)

Imperators to Own in GTA Online
No Mercy!

An applaudable homage to Mad Max

With the release of Arena War DLC back in 2018, Rockstar introduced a whole bunch of gas-guzzling vehicles for an all-out vicious vehicle brawl setting. Among the vehicles released, the Imperator stood out as a direct replica of Max Rockatansky’s Interceptor, the protagonist’s main car in the Mad Max series.

Along with its dashing looks, the Imperator is a powerful muscle car that handles really well. It has decent speed, fast acceleration, sufficient road traction for a muscle car, and it pulls off wheelies like an untamed stallion.

The Imperator is an Arena Ready vehicle and it comes in three variants. Technically, these variants drive and handle exactly alike and have the same set of weapon options. The only differences are in their themes and cosmetic upgrades.

You might ask yourself: what’s the point of choosing one over the other then? Well, these cosmetic differences play a huge part in showcasing yourself as an intimidating opponent and instilling fear both inside the Arena and out on the streets of Los Santos.

This article highlights and ranks all three variants of the Imperator based on their features and customization options.

3. Nightmare Imperator

The Nightmare Imperator

Standard Price: GTA$ 2,284,940

Trade Price: GTA$ 1,718,000 (By random Sponsorship Tier rewards)

The Nightmare Imperator endorses the aura of a psychedelic clown that’s out to haunt its enemies by showcasing distasteful fruity colors. After staring at it for a while, you might start conceding your purchase decision and appreciate the whacky combination of contrasty colors and dystopian decor options.

The Nightmare Imperator can be equipped with .50 Cal MG on its hood and a kinetic mortar in the rear. Plus, you also have the liberty to install 5 types of proximity mines: Kinetic, Spike, EMP, Slick, and Sticky. In addition, it can be fitted with ram weapons, speed or shunt boost, blades, and the ability to vertical jump.

The Nightmare Imperator can be your delight for the following reasons:

  • It has an eye-catching theme.
  • The decorations, coupled with the bright colors, scream CRAZY right in your adversary’s face.
  • You will be obliged to not take yourself seriously once you start modifying it.
  • It can withstand 1 RPG shot and 3 Homing Launcher Missiles.

Nightmare Imperator stats:

  • Speed: 80.48
  • Acceleration: 91.25
  • Braking: 16.67
  • Handling: 68.18
  • Overall: 64.15

2. Apocalypse Imperator

The Apocalypse Imperator

Standard Price: GTA$ 2,284,940

Trade Price: GTA$ 1,718,000 (By random Sponsorship Tier rewards)

Imagine yourself in a post-apocalyptic scenario, stranded out in the middle of the desert. Suddenly, you witness dust clouding the horizon and you start to hear rumbling sounds getting louder by the second. Just as you finish figuring out what possible threat you are going to face this time, a beefed-up rusted machine with outrageous mods pulls up next to you. The macho driver instructs you to get in. Well, the machine in such a scenario could be none other than the Apocalypse Imperator!

The Apocalypse Imperator is a deserving tribute to the Mad Max series. The car has pretty much every flaunting modification option you can imagine from the series. What really makes it noteworthy is the rusted look. Unlike the Nightmare Imperator, you can certainly acknowledge that the one driving it means business.

Aside from the worn-out body, it has exactly the same cosmetic and modification options as the Nightmare Imperator.

The Apocalypse Imperator is a good buy because:

  • Its design and looks are exceptional, to say the least.
  • The post-apocalyptic vibes it gives can prompt you to roam around with more aggression.
  • It can withstand 1 RPG shot and 3 Homing Launcher Missiles.

Apocalypse Imperator stats:

  • Speed: 80.48
  • Acceleration: 91.25
  • Braking: 16.67
  • Handling: 68.18
  • Overall: 64.15

1. Future Shock Imperator

The Future Shock Imperator

Standard Price: GTA$ 2,284,940

Trade Price: GTA$ 1,718,000 (By random Sponsorship Tier rewards)

If having a ghetto old school look on your Imperator is not something that you fancy, then perhaps your tastes might be more suited to the Future Shock variant. Unlike the Nightmare and Apocalypse variants, the Future Shock’s design is more towards linearity. But of course, there’s a reason why it’s the best option.

Even though the weaponry on the Future Shock Imperator is the same as the rest, the cosmetic options do differ. It has fewer decorative elements, but the ones it does have are more practical. It can be equipped with the most protective armor plating that safeguards the occupants better from bullets. Plus, it can be equipped with Phased Plasma Turrets. Even though they’ve got the same effectiveness as the .50 Cal MG, they look and sound a lot cooler.

All in all, the Future Shock Imperator is worth it because:

  • It has a much cleaner design overall.
  • The futuristic elements of it are quite attractive.
  • The armor plating on it is way more utilitarian.
  • Like the rest, it can also withstand 1 RPG shot and 3 Homing Launcher Missiles.

Future Shock Imperator stats:

  • Speed: 80.48
  • Acceleration: 91.25
  • Braking: 16.67
  • Handling: 68.18
  • Overall: 64.15
