The following five are the best bows to be found in New World in my opinion. I love how playing with the bow makes me feel powerful and unstoppable. Even though I know I’m not, I like the feeling of my prey falling before they know I’m there.

1. Fallen Olympian

You hold in your hands a relic from time long past, it has been in many battles and has saved but also taken many lives. Can you feel the incredible rage, combined with courage, and pride of all those before you? Let them guide and teach you.

Feel the power flow through you with every arrow you let fly. See all your foes fall before you. Using Fallen Olympian will make you feel powerful, but don't let this fool you. After all, we all can fail.

In my opinion, this bow is unique, and with the right equipment and chosen abilities, you can be unstoppable. It's a great bow for PvP and PvE so no matter what you prefer to play this will be perfect for you. My analysis is that it's best in a Damager build, however, it can be used in other builds but Damager would be best.

What Fallen Olympian Excels at?

Headshot.

• With Vorpal, you get an extra +10% headshot damage.

Boost.

• Feel the power, the Mortal power gives you.

Weaken.

• With your powerful Poison Shot feel the power of its perk EnfeeblingPoison Shot As it reduces your foe's damage.

How to obtain Fallen Olympian?

To Obtain Fallen Olympian you must finish the quest, The End of New Eden. Yet, you should know that not all will gain it.

Advise

I suggest that you select poison shot as one of your abilities or a perk will be wasted. Some advice, never give up. I know you will have to go through many quests to get to the one you need but it's worth it. 

2. Curse of the Descending Sun

Deal mighty blows from far away. Watch as your arrow soar through the sky and strike your foe. Let your foes feel your fury with each strike.

Curse of the Descending Sun might not be the most appealing by looks but it is a mighty bow in the right hands. My analysis is that this bow can serve a variety of builds, as it will do well in both PvP and PvE.

Deal More Damage With Explosive Arrow.

• Empowering Explosive Arrow adds an effect that deals 36% more damage.

Little Bit More Damage.

• Thanks to Vicious you deal +7% critical damage.

How to obtain the Curse of the Descending Sun?

Obtaining this master weapon is surely not going to be a simple task. But it can be done as long as you have endurance and commitment. It can be dropped from:

• Fathomless Syllogist - Level 66 - Family Ancient - Requirements 60+.

Artemis Boon Drop

Remember, you will have to have the boons active. To get the boons activated, you are required to consume one of the following potions:

• Weak Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier I
• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier I
• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II
• Strong Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II
• Strong Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier III
• Powerful Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier III

Advise

I advise you not to be careless and to prepare well to fight Fathomless Syllogist. If luck is on your side, it might drop the bow on your first try, or maybe not. I also advise you to select the ability explosive shot or you would be wasting a perk.

3. Hunter’s Claw

A bow that never relents as its reach far exceeds all others, hunter may this bow serve you well. Remember hunter all power comes with a price.

Why is Hunter’s Claw, a great weapon?

Hunter’s Claw is an amazing bow in the game. With every pull of the string, you can watch your arrow soar through the sky and find its target. As your arrow strikes, the life of your enemy leaves them. 

In my opinion, this bow is powerful and a great weapon to use. If used right, you can be almost unstoppable. My analysis is that it's a great pick for PvP and PvE, it can excel at both depending on what other weapon you pair it with.

Rapid Fire.

• In the right hands, these quick shots can deal fatal damage to your foe.

Headshot.

• With Vorpal, you get an extra +10% headshot damage.

How to obtain the Hunter’s Claw?
Artemis Boon Drop

Obtaining this master weapon is surely not going to be a quick and easy task. Yet, it can be done as long as you have endurance and commitment. It is found in random drops and usually by most of the creatures within the game. Remember, you will have to have the boons active. To get the boons activated, you are required to consume one of the following potions:

• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier I
• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II
• Strong Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II

Advise

I know this grind can be a big pain in the ass. So, here is a little advice. Take your time and turn it into a supply run, as well as a hunt for the bow. We always need things and it can be boring going out just to harvest this will make a good mix of combat and harvesting.

4. Daemon Tendon

As I sit by the fire listening to this man, others say his a madman. He is telling me that my bow was forged from a tendon taken from a demon. As I look at my bow all I can think is that this can't be true.

Why is Daemon Tendon, a great weapon?

Feel its dark power and corruption course through you. With its power slay your foes and have no mercy slaying creatures, monsters, or people. Show them your power and make them fear you.

This is a great bow in my opinion because it can be used in multiple different builds, and can be useful in both PvP and PvE. With all I have seen and experienced my analysis is that this would be amazing paired with a spear or a void gauntlet.

What Daemon Tendon Excels at?

Reduced Cooldowns.

• Mortal Refreshment Perk reduces all cooldowns when you kill by -10%.

Void Damage.

• Thanks to Abyssal Attunement.

How to obtain the Daemon Tendon?

Obtaining this master weapon is surely not going to be a task you can merely do within a couple of seconds. You will have to hunt and face the Breaches. Here is a list of which chests Daemon Tenndon can appear from.

• Major Bearch Cache (Level: 61) - Common.
• Major Bearch Cache (Level: 62) - Common.
• Major Bearch Cache (Level: 63) - Common.
• Major Bearch Cache (Level: 64) - Common.
• Major Bearch Cache (Level: 65) - Common.

Advise

Here is some advice for you, Breaches are dangerous so if you can get some friends to help you with this task, be sure to do so. You will have to grind Breaches. So, why not make a party or an event of doing it? It’s always more fun with friends.

5. Nemesis

My foes call me by many names but Nemesis is my favorite one so far. Some may call me Villain and others, oh, they call me Rival, what would you call me my friend?

Why is Nemesis, a great weapon?

This bow has a unique look but don't let its beauty fool you. It's still a weapon for taking life. Pull its string and feel your arrow taking a life. All power has a price. Can you sacrifice your soul to wield this powerful bow?

In my opinion, this bow has a unique appearance. It is also a great weapon for a damager and can be used in PvP and PvE but I think it's better at PvE than PvP.  My analysis of this bow is that it can be the best bow if used right. It might not be for all but I love this bow.

What Nemesis Excels at?

Lasts Longer.

• Slow & Bleed lasts longer thanks to the perk Lasting Rain of Arrows.

Higher Damage chance.

• Thanks to Keen you stand a +7% chance to deal more damage.

How to obtain the Nemesis?

Obtaining this master weapon is surely not going to be a simple task. You will have to travel to the old first light and hunt down the terrible beast that holds it.

• Maple, Devious Sprig - Lv 63 - Family Angry Earth - Requirements 60+.

Advise

Here is a little advice when you go to claim this weapon from Maple, Devious Spring I suggest you use Arcane, Fire, or Lighting. Arcane deals 20% more damage, Fire deals 30% more damage, and Lightning deals the same as fire.
