[Top 6] Best Valheim Capes (and How to Get Them)

While there are various things that you can customize on your Viking, none can be more important than the capes. While this is mainly a cosmetic piece, some capes are part of something much bigger that can help your character out when it comes to stat bonuses or being part of an armor set that gives additional things for you, and in turn, helps the progression of your gameplay. With that being the case, there have only ever been 6 capes in Valheim ever since its release, with likely add-ons to come once more content is added given its early access nature, but it’s still worthwhile to visit what these capes can give and assess its value to your quest to Viking supremacy.

As with the previous lists, this was created using the latest version available at the time of writing (version 0.202.70 and is based on the progression of function throughout the game and even some style points.

6. Cape of Odin

With a cape as rare as this, the Cape of Odin is one of those mythical items that you can only get when you have played this game for far longer than the game has been up on early access, making for a very niche, but welcomed addition to Valheim.

In-game, it doesn’t offer anything too valuable, because it’s more of a cosmetic piece, but given that this was only given to those who joined Valheim’s Beta, it does fetch some real-life cash for those Viking die-hards who absolutely want it. If you want the power of the Norse god, or at least, a portion of it, you may need to start looking for anyone with an unused code.
