Lord Neverember has arrived to the destroyed city of Neverwinter, and proclaimed himself Lord Protector. He has called all the adventurers from the land to join him in securing the great city from the invading forces of Thay and Netherese. Neverwinter is a game based on the Neverwinter games, which are themselves built on the tabletop D&D system.

The combat is dynamic and, thanks to the D&D system, balanced: you have to actually aim your attacks, not just select a target and spam numbers.
