10 Diablo Bosses Who Slaughtered Millions of Noobs Worldwide

6. The Skeleton King

Going back in time to Diablo I. The Original Skeleton King.

The Skeleton King came back in Diablo 3 after starring as a boss in Diablo 1. Technically the Butcher beat the Skeleton King as the very first boss in the franchise, but the Skeleton King came right after. The Butcher also didn’t have a massive horde of skeleton archers to protect him. The archers are by far the most difficult part of this fight since the Skeleton King will try to chop you up while you deal with them.

The Skeleton King is the tragic result of King Leoric going mad due to the influence of Diablo. After executing most of his family and loyal followers, he slowly succumbed to death and became the haunting Skeleton King that wandered the cathedral beneath Tristram.
