2. Life is Strange

Life is Strange Gameplay

Life is Strange isn’t the kind of game that you’d expect from Square Enix, but the world is sure happy that the powerhouse game publisher went for it. And they definitely blew us all away.

Life is Strange puts you in the shoes of Max Caulfield, a quiet senior at Blackwell Academy who aspires to be a great photographer. Like the camera she loves so much, Max would rather watch the world around her rather than actively participate in it. All of that changes when she discovers she has the awesome ability to rewind time, altering events of the present to change her and others’ futures.

This game feels a lot like the Walking Dead games by Telltale Games, with decisions that will alter your story and change the way that other characters feel about the player. However, this game introduces some interesting puzzles that can only be solved through Max’s time-altering abilities.

First episode is free!

Something strange is going on at Blackwell Academy. Can Max use her newfound powers to discover the hidden truths about their “pristine” school?

Will you use Max’s powers for good? Or for evil?
