11.Draugen
Dive into the 1920's on the west coast of Norway where your mission is to explore this fishing village where there is no one to be found. Find clues as to the missing whereabouts of villages residents as well as the history of the village itself.From what we can gather from the trailer this seems to be less of a jump scare filled game and more of a suspense builder.
Lets go to Norway they said...It will be fun they said...
The graphics and atmosphere seem very beautifully done which i am sure will make it all the more scary and immersive.I mean it clearly starts out normal but as you can see from the trailer it takes a pretty big turn towards the end there! I for one cannot wait for this game to come out.
10.Through The Woods
Wandering through the woods at night is always going to be scary and Through the Woods is no exception. This third person psychological horror game takes place in....a forest on the western shore of Norway? Geeze that place has alot of scary stuff going on doesn't it?
Anyway in Through the woods you take on the role of a mother looking for her lost son in this dark forest. Now the trailer is short but oh man is it ever sweet! I have to say the graphics look pretty good but what really got me was the fact that i was afraid of the trees. Any game,especially just the trailer, that can make me afraid of something like trees leads me to believe it will become an instant classic.
This is about forest fires isn't it?
I don't know what was chasing her in the end there, but i hope this game comes with a fresh pair of pants. A killer Tree perhaps? Watch the trailer and you be the judge.
9.The Hum:Abductions
I don't think i have ever said the word "Nope!" quite as often as i did watching the trailer for this game, which is really odd as aliens usually don't scare me. In The Hum: Abductions you play a wife and mother who's husband has vanished with only your child to keep you company.
Uncover clues of your family's past and perhaps just what has happened to your husband.
This game is still in development but is hopefully going to b released sometime in 2016.I personally will have to stay away from this game considering the trailer alone made me sleep with the lights on....just not really bright lights.

I think it was being able to hear your characters breathing such short scared breathes! Maybe that was just me breathing?
8.Friday the 13th
I am super excited for this game. This Third person Survival Horror game lets you take on the role of either the teenagers, who must work together escape from Jason or take on the role of Jason himself! This game is multi player and the thought of being able to hunt down your scared friends with a machete is sure to fill you with joy!
Who is ready to go to camp!?
I am really excited to see a game based on a classic horror movie and judging from the trailer it has got that classic 80's vibe as if your in one of the movies! The Narration by who i can only assume is Jason's mother makes it all the more spooky.Get ready for a fun and bloody camp adventure coming out 2016!
7.Routine
Normally i would roll my eyes at another Space themed horror game but after watching this trailer i have to say this game looks spectacular! Explore an abandoned moon base and figure out what has happened! Aside from stunning graphics the game has some features that make it unique.
There is no HUD or health bar, or conveniently placed health packs when you need them the most. This game is Perma death! Meaning if you die guess what? Your not coming back!
You have to run,hide and survive! I am sure this will get some gamer's to rage quit but honestly it is refreshing to have a realistic challenging game where there are no second chances. It will make the experience all the more intense!
Open vent in a space station? When has that ever gone wrong?
If the trailer tells us anything its not to just charge in! Play smart! Plan what you are going to do and you just might survive.
6.Allison Road
My skin is crawling from this trailer! How can the people who made Worms make such a horrifying game!? This game is probably the most realistic game i have seen since P.T.
You take on the role of a unnamed character who must explore this house and uncover clues as to the whereabouts of your family and just what twisted things are going on inside of this house.There doesn't seem to be any fighting back or even any hiding for that matter this game seems purely "Run or Die".

Can you survive and unravel the mystery of Allison Road? Do you even have the guts to try? I don't. The trailer was too scary for me! I mean you forget just watching the trailer that this is a video game and not just someone holding a camera!
5.Perception
Reading the concept for this game was interesting but after seeing the trailer i am blown away! In this game you are Cassie Thornton a blind woman investigating a mansion she has been having visions of for some time.The way you see in this game is through sound,making the mission of exploring a haunted house all the more well...haunting.
There are no weapons and i have to assume both hiding and running are going to be difficult when your blind regardless of your sonar like vision. Why is Cassie having visions of a house she has never been too? More importantly...what is that creature that seems to be hunting you?

The jump scare at the end though...I almost spilled my drink. I can only assume you wanna stay away from whatever that is! 2016 is the year we find out!
4.P.A.M.E.L.A
Lead developer Christian McDonald says the are for this game was inspired by Mass Effect and Mirrors edge, and the trailer is proof of that. Beautiful does not seem to do this game justice as the graphics are just....wow! The game takes place on a futuristic Island called Eden where a infection has broken out that seem to be driving people insane.
You wake from cryo sleep to find Eden in a state of panic during the infection breakout. You must scavenge for food and water as well weapons and other supplies to defend yourself against the hostile inhabitants. I cant stop watching this trailer there's so much different stuff going on and so many little details that i feel like i am missing!
This place is just too beautiful!
I want to see more of this eden! This game is one of the most anticipated of 2016 and sure to be a instant success!
3.Resident Evil Zero Remastered
See the origin story of Resident evil like never before! With better graphic and sounds this remastered version of Resident Evil Zero is sure to be a masterpiece.See what i did there? Pretty clever right?
Go back to 1998 where a young Rebecca Chambers is investigating a string of murders on the outskirts of Raccoon city. You play as both Rebecca and Ex convict Billy Coen as you fight and survive while uncovering the horrors that led up to the original resident evil! I wanna say the cut scenes along with general game play graphics look pretty flawless.
I really think the picture speaks for itself this time
A lot of remastered games are just touch ups but this seems like they really paid attention to detail.
2.We Happy Few
Compulsion Games brings us this first person survival game set in alternate England in the 1960's. In the town of Wellington Wells the population is controlled by a drug called Joy. You take on the role of the downer, someone who refuses to take the drug Joy like everyone else.
Naturally being the odd man out everyone tries to kill you for not comforting to their creepy drug. You must scavenge for food and supplies while pretending to be one of these freaks high on Joy! As you can see from the trailer you better keep smiling...or else.
What's all this then?
There's something disturbing and scary about having to be happy. This trailer gives me a very Bio shock type feeling, that sort of upbeat attitude surrounded by crazy people who wanna bash in your brains. Stay Happy.
1.Outlast 2
That's right! Its back! One of the top horror games of all time gets a sequel! Very little is known at this point about the games story, what we do know for sure is that this game will take place in the same universe as the previous outlast game, as well as the DLC Whisteblower but will have a different location and characters.
The trailer honestly doesn't tell us much but the sight of an upside down burning cross and crazy preacher ramblings is enough to give us goosebumps. This game is set to release in fall of 2016 and we cant wait to learn more! Judging from the trailer im wondering if maybe this will take place in the forest or at least somewhere outside even?
