'Find the murderer or everyone dies.' The students at Hope's Peak Academy are not like normal students. Each and every one of them is an expert in their field. They are jokingly called the 'Ultimate' students as each one is the best in the country at their particular skill.  This school on the outside looks ideal, a great school for the new elite. But all is not as it seems. Monokuma, a strange little robotic bear has taken over the school and turned the students on each other.

Now they are killing each other in Monokuma's twisted game: Students in Hope's Peak will be locked in the building for life, unless they manage to kill another student and get away with it, this is called 'graduating'.

It isn't that easy however. Only one student is allowed to 'graduate'. The rest must pay the ultimate price, death. To stop that all students need to host a trial, to find out who is the killer and 'punish' them accordingly.

Makoto Neigi, the player character, won a random lottery to get accepted into the school, becoming the Ultimate 'lucky' student, or not so lucky as he soon finds out. He has no idea what awaits him in this supposedly elite school. Just like every other student there he is faced with the task of surviving. He will have to use his wits to not only survive the other students, but the fast pace courtroom style trials to find who the real killer is. The luckiest student in the country can only find despair and death within this schools walls, hopefully it wont be his. Use every skill at your disposal to uncover the killer in this point and click style adventure.
