Despite having slain the Darkspawn Archdemon, the Darkspawn forces continue to remain and plague the world of Thedas. As the Grey Warden Commander, you are now responsible for rebuilding the Grey Wardens - the ancient order of guardians, sworn to protect Thedas from the blights of the darkspawn. However, it is also the Grey Wardens' responsibility to discover the secrets of the Darkspawn and determine their fate.

In this expansion to Dragon Age: Origins, players must make complex choices and journey to the land of Amaranthine, exploring the world of Dragon Age and shaping their characters, whose choices can affect the very future of Thedas.

What starts out to be epic, actually ends just as it's getting good. The deeper you get into Awakening the more you realize how rushed it gets towards the end.

This is more of a DLC than a full length game. If you purchase the Ultimate Edition of Origins, this comes with it. That being said, it was interesting to see what happened after the Archdemon was slain. It's short but very much still worth the time to play it.
