It has been better in the past IMO, but still a good game which I play often. I hope to write about it, too, at https://www.pissgaming.zone/writing-league-of-legends soon I would still rate it a 9/10 game even with all its problems, but if there was an "Oldschool" version of league I wouldn't even think about playing the main game, and would rate that one, relative to my League of Legends rating, easily a 15/10!

It's a fun game to play. If you prefer a more in depth and bigger learning curve DOTA might fit you better. For more fun and and easy going game play League of Legends might be good for you!

I think I overplay League, and I've spent a bit too much on the game, but I regret nothing about it. 6000 hours isn't too much, right?

League wasn't the first MOBA, but it surely is the most popular. The Esport scene is a thrilling watch, and Riot is a very active developer. League of Legends can be EXTREMELY toxic at times...but we keep coming back for the plays. If only to get that pentakill.....

This game can either give you euphoria or cancer. But there's always in-between though should you get the hang of the game. No other MOBA game comes close. That said, LoL>DotA 2.

The actual game is good even though it has alot of bugs sometimes. The variety of champions you can choose and lanes you can take is fun! The idea is good, but the community is just tragic... In League of Legends you can find alot of trolls or just players that dont care about the game (not sure what they are really doing in it). This is 100% team game and it should be played with a 5 man team in order to feel the game and do good in it. But yeah, the game is fun to play from time to time.

This is the first MOBA I've ever played, and I have to say - between the immensely detailed graphics of Summoner's Rift (try zooming in!) and the quite possibly infinite number of champion matchups, League of Legends provides one of the most engaging gaming experiences I've ever had.

I've been playing this game for 2 and a half years now and i really got to say this... you can not enjoy league. This game it's one of those MOBA's in which you're either in to be the best or just for a partial experience. Before you reach level 30 everything is nice and calm you're making friends and having fun, but after that and with the introduction of ranked play mode you might change your opinion about the community. All in all i can't hate this game, it's the most played MOBA for a reason and even with eu west crashing 50% of the times i still love league.

Of all the minions of the original Dota, LoL is my favorite. The most balanced, with the best art and the most dynamic of them. Or at least it was while I was still playing it a couple of years back, before my girlfriend moved over and I had to switch to single-player (pause-able) games. And that's pretty much the only thing that could've stopped me from playing this beauty.

"Welcome to Summoners Rift" This greeting, seductively announced upon your summoner's entrance into LoL's most popular battleground, will linger in your mind long after you've cut the power to your PC for the night. League of Legends is a fast-paced team game which combines all the best elements of your typical MOBA. Strategy, slashing, hacking, trolling, objectives, ridiculous weapons, and minions. Don't forget the minons!

Being one of the most popular MOBAs, people get drawn in by League of Legend's creative characters and unique battle kits, as well as character lore and cinematics. Yet, is the game really worth the play? In this particular game, you select a champion to play with whatever role you desire. If you love to heal and support your team, you can pick Soraka or Sona. If backstabbing and slice-and-dicing is your thing, Shaco or Katarina would definitely stand out amongst the shadows. Prefer some range to snipe your enemies from afar? Well, Ashe or Ezreal seem ready with eagle eyes. But while you're glued to the lore and uniqueness of each character, you're going into battle with a birds-eye view, fast paced action, and objectives. Doing well generally involves communicating with your team, figuring who will go into one of the three lanes to protect their tower. Although, LoL has changed, becoming basically a Pay To Win game with the runes you can equip to up your stats. So, you have the ability to go on a complete lose streak and become consumed by frustration. The characters progress rather quickly and the game is simple, allowing you to run around, attack minions and players, buy gear, as so on. The advantages to the game branch from the creativity of the game itself. Each character has its own design and amazing skins, as well as a very unique kit for battles. The music that plays matches the mood of game play, keeping you generally compelled to enter and finish a fight, whether it be with a tiny minion or another player. The map itself is easy to understand, much like most MOBAs, and the work that goes into the game is outstanding. The creators of LoL seem to be more than happy to create new content and updates for the players. The downsides? It's a very competitive game, possibly having one of the most the toxic MOBA communities, in my opinion. That's coming from a past player. If something were to happen, and you're on a 1/7 kill/death ratio, you will be targeted and, in my experience, you'll be called foul names and insults will be thrown mercilessly. Despite having new content, which is nice, discipline or anything along the lines of banning seem rarely dished out to the more foul players. Personally, I don't find it to be a fun community. It's rather corrosive. Over all, I, personally, wouldn't ever go back to the game. While the game is unique and compelling in it's own way, the community itself can drive people away. I'll stick with admiring the art from afar.

You're only as good as your team. In this game, select a champion among over one-hundred others to battle it out in this Massive Online Battle Arena. Discuss with your teammates in real time, act fast, and don't let them take your turrets, or worse- your Nexus.

League of Legends is the most popular game to watch in the world. There is no wonder to that, because it is pretty similar to football. LoL is a team game where you as an individual fight with your team against the enemy team. You can choose a variety of heroes, can buy variety of equipment and choose variety of skills. From that you can build your hero to any shape you want. It is a nice competitive game especially for the mainstream folks. If you want to choose a game to play and never played any game in your life you should try LoL first.

Your character progresses fairly fast, and the game is simple enough, without much of a storyline, as MOBA games usually are. The commands are easy to use as they unfold in frond of you, and each character's background helps getting in the mood of this world and of who you represent. The usual "epic style'' serene music turning fast when battling, some of the character's voices can be quite annoying at times though. The graphics have improved a lot during the years and you can only guess how awesome they will be in the future too!

The gameplay is reasonably straightforward given sufficient practice, and anyone well-versed in real time strategy games (ala Starcraft, Age of Empires, Rise of Nations) will pick this game up lightning-fast. The champion's major abilities by default are based along one row of the keyboard (QWER), making it easy to fluidly execute combos and their targets alike. Character backgrounds and lore are sufficiently developed to give the player a sense of "who" they're playing as, but the storyline is not an entity unto itself; nonetheless, some champions have deep-seated rivalries and fan-theories have spawned about how they came about. The in-game music is beautiful, if a little tranquil at times to be representing a battlefield. All in all, this game is becoming a phenomenon that is- to quote the in-game announcer that celebrates player kills- "Legendary", "Godlike", "Unstoppable", and deservedly so.

For all the superficial simplicity of its objective (work as a team to capture and control objectives on a map), LoL's play experience is- in a word- rich. Rapid-fire decisions grounded in team strategy reward players who require games to be intellectually stimulating above all else. Players control their choice of 125 unique characters called champions; with each champion having a unique ability set and role in game, there is certain to be something for everyone!

LoL is by far one of the best MOBA games ever created. It is mostly based on teamwork and knowing how to use the champions. League has user-friendly controls and is easy to learn, and the community helps newbies out a lot.

LoL is not a game anymore. It has become a living, breathing organism, with YOU as one of its numerous cells. The good side of this is that the game is always evolving. The bad side is that player toxicity can give it cancer.

League of Legends is by far what most players from RPG gaming were waiting for and it shows. Based on pure PVP Strategy, you master how to mix and match champions with other players and learn your way and fighting style. Knowing every champion is the key and understanding the map works throughout the leveling process. Amazing game and it seriously shows!

Fun and exciting. Having a lot of champions to play from (not to mention the additions from time to time), any gamer may adjust to whatever his gaming type. LoL allows players to specialize on a certain lane or champion type. Unlike DOTA, this game is strongly based on teamwork so players must rely on each other to win. It is easy and a must-play for those who haven't played it yet.

One of the greatest MOBA games ever created. Some say that it is a simplified version of Dota. But why not ? Enormous variety of champions , fun to play , based on teamwork and tactics ( not that everyone plays it that way ) and it is very easy to learn it .

In contrast with other MOBAs, League of Legends is much easier to get the hang of, but that's not to say that the skill cap is lower.

League of Legends is the king of MOBA game style! Riot Games offers up a variety of champions for players to find their niche with, to seize victory in PVP or bot battles. Stretch those finger muscles now, because once the action starts you’ll find it difficult to pull yourself away from LoL’s immersive action! Simple to learn controls, four maps, over 120 champions, and the world of eSports await you in League of Legends!

League of Legends revolutionized the MOBA style gameplay back in 2009. League of Legends offers one of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have. It has a champion roster (the caracters available to play) of over 120, all with their unique style. Not only that, but it also features 4 different maps with distinct objectives, not to mention the 'featured gamemode' where there'll be special rules for one epic battle. This game is a must play for the experience alone.

League of Legends is a unique MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) in that it appeals to both beginners and experienced gamers of the genre. Unlike some games of this type, League has user friendly controls and is relatively easy to learn as a whole. As far as continued entertainment, with new additions and updates to the game, it is constantly progressing. And since the base game is free, why not give it a try?

It’s a free online game that gives you every week the opportunity to try out some champions free. You can play 1vs1 3vs3 and 5vs5 with your friends or strangers. Every champion has its own story and skills. You can purchase champions and skins after trying them so you will be sure for your choice. It’s a game of company and strategy where you can be awarded by teammates or award them. The top level is 30 but it doesn’t stop there. After reaching it you can play ranked games and climb the ranks.

The thing about League of Legends is that it has everything a MOBA player is looking for: a great history of success, user-friendly gameplay, new interesting content released every month, a massive, well established community and a great deal of interest from the audience. Whether you're a new player or a veteran, League is equally welcoming and rewarding. It provides a different approach to the game: learning, outplaying opponents and becoming better is an opportunity for you to become a star.

Over the years the MOBA platform has evolved into more into e-sports than your traditional gaming, League of legends is certainly the epitome, judging by sheer number of players and the heavy amount of time invested. It is a game that needs you to develop skills, multitask, cooperate, execute strategies but most importantly it requires you to have a sense of the game, In turn it rewards you with both rank and honor, inspiring thousands to working towards being the best in the world.

League of Legends is a revolutionary version of the legendary Defense of the Ancients. The great thing about this game is that is captures the teamwork and strategies that a team can utilize to win the game. Champions are continuously updated and created to make the game more fun for its gamers. This game focuses more on pvp and team strategies and that is why gamers are hooked to it. Newbies are always welcome in this easy-to-learn game!

Even after three years, League of Legends is still my favorite game, the game is entertaining and has everything you need to have a good time with friends and have fun. The only thing I dislike is that it has one of the most toxic communities.

LoL is like the evolved version of DOTA; it is full of powerful heroes and deadly moves that was actually missing in DOTA. Hardcore players find this game very exciting and the some key factions makes it unique. It is free to play and the unlocking items by using earned points make players something to look forward to. Those who have already played DOTA a lot can surely dominate in LoL. Even though it wont be difficult to play for newbies. This game promises full multi-player experience.

LoL is an obsession with a lot of gamers, with some people even managing to make pretty good livings through the e-sport or on Twitch. If you've never played a MOBA, they are based on an old custom map for Warcraft Three. Riot games just saw the idea, made a free to play client, and have been running with it ever since in highly original ways. LoL is definitely one of the best multiplayer experiences you can have on PC at the moment.

League of Legends is not just any MOBA game; this game focuses heavily on teamwork and tries to ensure all characters are balanced in skills, rather than having godlike champions that are just too powerful. Being a newbie once, the game stands out from others for being newbie-friendly with in-game recommended builds and on-client champion gaming tips. The ability to earn game points through playing, change character skins and gain mastery points makes it even more fun and engaging. Recommended!

League of Legends (LoL) is almost similar to DOTA 2 in terms of gameplay; however, there are noticeable differences. You can pick among the weekly free-to-play champions but may unlock your favorites with in-game points or cash. In time, you gain summoner spells and masteries to aid your champion as you engage in more matches. Finally, newbies can enjoy the less punishing atmosphere since you don’t lose gold if you die. Whether you’re a new or seasoned RTS gamer, I recommend giving LoL a try.
