Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments (2014)
London, 1890. A man known as Black Peter is found dead inside his own property in Sussex. His body was impaled to the wall with a whaling harpoon. There are no signs of combat, and it seems no one broke into the property to commit the murder. It is hard to believe a single person would be able to impale a man to a wall with a harpoon. As Sherlock Holmes, you must solve this crime and find the killer responsible for murdering Black Peter. Set in the suburbs of London during the 18th century, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an awe-inspiring adventure where players must solve crimes, all of which are an accurate depiction of Arthur Conan Doyle's novels.
The quests are loyal to Doyle's writing style, and follow a sequence of missions divided in 6 acts that must be solved by the player. The missions in question range from thefts to murders and each has their own methods of completion. As Sherlock, your objective is to follow the clues scattered throughout the city and gather all pieces of the puzzle together to find a solution, and consequently, the responsible for the crime. How fast you can solve it will depend on how good you are to analyze the clues given and interpret all possible outcomes from the case. Having a good sense of deduction is extremely important in this game, since a bad deduction can lead to success or failure in finding the culprit. Embark in this historical journey and try to solve the mysteries surrounding Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment.
