The main characters in The Sims 4 can be anything they want. Be it a strong and polite gentleman who works as a firefighter, a pretty and clever teenager who aspires to be a scientist, or even an evil young man who loves to mistreat others and steals furniture at night. Everything is viable in this world full of possibilities and seemingly infinite outcomes. Live the life you want, with the characters you want, the way you want. Create Sims from scratch and give them an amazing personality, interesting traits, and control their lives from birth until their death.

Dedicate your Sim's life to pursue the career of their dreams, or build up a strong relationship and start a new family with someone your Sim loves. Make new friends (or enemies), explore your neighborhood, fulfill your Sims dreams and aspirations, build and customize your house and furniture, and share your creations with players around the world.  Play the game the "traditional" way of living by your own rules and decisions, or take on the new Legacy Challenge, and try to make your Sim's family line last for ten generations. No matter how you decide to play the game, the result will always be unique for each style of gameplay.

I loved this game so much. This game really loved my wallet.\ Pros: It's a fun game to waste time, my girlfriend loves it, it's nice to ignore my life and manage others. Cons: I swear this thing is basically pay to play, limited as apposed to The Sims 3, I have to pay to get a dog like in the real world.

Im going to be honest with this one, this is the first sims game i ever played and i loved it although i heard sims 3 offered so much more but back to sims 4. It will keep you playing it for a few hours although you can get bored very quickly, tbh the money for the game is worth it but i wouldnt buy it before it gets more updates

After being such a fan of the Sims 3 and all that it offered, Sims 4 initially felt like a step in the wrong direction. Sims 3 had such an extensive CAS system, with the color wheels and fabrics for creating unique outfits, as well as the plentiful traits and aspirations. Sims 4 has a watered-down version of it (going from 5-7 traits in Sims 3 to only 3 in Sims 4 was my biggest disappointment), but it does allow players to make characters more quickly in order to play the game. While looking more cartoon-y than Sims 3, Sims 4 has a simpler building mode, enabling players to make their dream homes much more quickly than Sims 3 ever did. I definitely miss the open world of Sims 3, but Sims 4 is swift with the few loading screens and the emotions aspect is fun to exploit. All in all, I'm certainly hoping that more will be added with future expansion packs because at the moment, the Sims 4 just seems like it's a work in progress.

It's not a WIP. It's like a puzzle: you buy the "base" for a nice price ;) then you realize they gave you something incomplete. Ok. Wait for the "packs", go buy them, then repeat it for n times... it's a total waste of resources. I bought the complete Sims 2 (ok, it's old!) but at least now I have a full working game, better than the actual Sims 4... or Sims 3 + Pets ;)

After the open world concept of Sims 3, the first installation of Sims 4 was at best underwhelming. The absence of a colour wheel, and the choices of fabrics for the outfits were sorely missed for the players who prefer the aesthetic of creating unique houses. The CAS was probably the best aspect of the game.

They will sell it to you. Just wait and you will be eager to spend for some "expansions"... better buy a full Sims 2 or 3 :D

This is cool game that wakes up your imagination. You can be anyone in the real world, but in this game you will be the one who you want to be. You can build the home of your dreams and have so many children that you want to. System of relationships in this game makes you feel like the center of the world or like a God of friendship and love. This is such kind of game that everyone must play.

Sims 4 having more emotions, new CAS and Flexible Building Tools is a modified form of Sims 2. As far as graphics are concerned, Sims 3 was quite realistic whereas Sims 4 is cartoonish with somehow more polished graphics and faster processing. The only positive thing about Sims 4 that may appeal everyone is it loads and saves your progress much faster as compared to Sims 3, but at the same time it lacks many features that Sims 3 used to have. Overall, the game is still playable for those who really wants to kill their time.

Sims 4 just seemed incomplete in my opinion. Going from Sims 3 to Sims 4 was disappointing. There is far less content and there are not toddlers anymore. The CAS mode is updated and better than the previous Sims, but they removed some of the most important elements in the game for some people.

Between other aspects, emotions emphasis gave more interesting view to explore. Endless possibilities tied me to a game for days. But, I came to a point where there is nothing new, when you achieve all that you could, one thing is lacking: the end.

Sims 4 offers very little extra than what you got in Sims 3. The game-play is like for like and the only discernible difference comes in the form of household items and decorations. And yet those are lacking in number, instead most of the Sims 4 comes in the form of hated DLC. Day 1 DLC, special edition DLC and frequent DLC releases. EA and the Sims are known for DLC packages but with the Sims 4 they've taken it to a new level of absurdity and have released a stripped down game to compensate.

Sims 4 was fun for the gamer that wants to play the game. The Sims franchise has been about building homes and cities. For a gamer that wants to play the Sims franchise is not appealing. Then along came Sims 4, allows the gamer to enjoy the game with less building and more play. I did not mind the lack of pools or toddlers.

Going from Sims 3 to Sims 4 was disappointing. The base game for Sims 4 had far less content than Sims 3 did, including a surprising lack of pools and toddlers. When EA addressed this issue, they said it was because of a lack of time. It would have benefited them to push back the release date in order to work in these two essential components. Outside of missing content, the new sim creation mode is appealing, yet I still find myself drawn to Sims 3 more often than Sims 4.

The relaxing chirpy background music is welcoming to my ears. Experiencing the new sims4 game has been a pleasant ordeal. Ater Sims3 I didnt think it would be better, however the CAS updates, building customization options and interactions have been surprisingly intriquing. The expansions the Sims4 have to offer are an amazing compliment to the game that makes for hours of endless creativity. The Get to Work explansion pack is a game changer. as always Sims is less story and more creativity.

So much can go wrong if you decide to leave out a swimming pool from a Sims title. Though they brought it back later it still didn't fill the black holes that was flowing through this once amazing title. This has so little content that i heard echos while playing it. The Sims 3 left us with dogs and Harry Potter magic wands where Sims 4 tried to float our bubble with a new facial emotion feature which we only observed 10% of the time. Not bad and not good either stick to Sims 3 and stay happy.

When it comes to the phenomenal Sims, I have to be partial. I have been playing it since I was a teenager, and this game has been my life. Literally. The Sims 3 is my absolute favorite, however, I feel that Sims 4 did not do it justice. Love the new items and upgrades. However, if you are a hardcore fan of the Sims 3, you will find it a bit sloppy and messy.

As a player who has purchased and played every sims generation as they came out, Sims 4 leaves something lacking as a base game. Without previous game elements, such as toddlers, the game feels incomplete. The introduction of the new CAS (Create a Sim) system and the emotions driven gameplay gives the franchise a new draw, but without the addition of some of the older elements, the game will never be as attractive to previous players.

The Sims 4 is like any other Sims game you have played, except for the few added new features and ways to be more elaborate on how you make your sims. I feel like they could add more to the game to make it more entertaining and different from the other versions besides the graphics, but it's a fun nothing else to do sort of game. If you want better graphics then the Sims 4 is fine but I would wait for it to go on sale and not spend 60 dollars on it.

Its a great game if you just want to pass time. But I think the first SIMS was still better. However in graphics SIMS4 is better than the first series of SIMS
