Genshin Impact is a game that has events that repeat yearly. One of these events is the Lantern Rite from Liyue, which celebrates the Lunar New Year. Each event changed the missions and bosses, and this year was no different.

5. Hu Tao + Bennett + Kazuha + Zhongli
Zhongli’s shield has to be always on you, because Hu Tao has low Hp and even a hit can cause her to die. When the head falls, Bennett’s burst will increase future damage and Kazuha’s burst will give you off-field passive Pyro damage. Now just spam Hu Tao’s powerful attacks and kill those annoying heads.

That would be enough damage to kill the Hydra. However, we have to be careful not to die, that’s what the rest of the characters are for. Qiqi’s burst makes Ayaka’s normal attacks heal the party, and Zhongli’s shield is mostly impenetrable. We can’t forget their burst hit like a truck.

Bennett’s burst heals and increases damage, Xiangling’s and Kazuha’s deal tons of off-field damage, and Raiden’s it’s the most powerful and can defeat a head in seconds. The only problem is that you have to wait until the head falls. We’ll solve it now.

2. Yoimiya + Thoma + Diona + Zhongli
Yoimiya’s team is second because the overall damage is less than with Ganyu. However, it’s still an amazing team. The Pyro resonance, constant melt damage, and healing and shielding, makes this team check all boxes for an all-around team.

- Constant Cryo + Pyro elemental reaction
- Off-field damage from Thoma and Diona
- Huge DPS
- Can’t die with Zhongli’s shield and Diona’s healing
1. Ganyu + Shenhe + Bennett + Zhongli
Bennett’s burst causes Ganyu’s damage to increase, and Shenhe’s burst deals damage while also increasing Ganyu’s damage. Knowing the power of her charged shots, just one or two are enough to finish one of the heads.

- Can attack even when the head is not down
- Bennett’s burst heals and increases damage
- Shene’s burst increases Cryo damage and decreases Cryo resistance for enemies

We can conclude that both melee and ranged teams can be used for this event, but ranged characters allow you to continue attacking even when the heads aren’t down. As one of the best DPS in the game, Ganyu is the best archer to use. However, as always, every game wants you to have fun, so just choose your favourite characters and try to win with them.
