[Top 5] AC Odyssey Best Armor

AC Odyssey Best Armor
Proud Spartan. Can be hired as Athenian.

What are the best armors you can possibly get?

Why do you need the best armor, you may ask? It helps you slash through your enemies more easily as it gives buffs to your health and damage. Of course, you also want to be fabulously shiny and well-protected at the same time. Whether you play as Alexios or Kassandra, their armors look almost identical with only minor differences. And the best thing is, if you like the benefits the armor gives you, but don’t like the looks, you can change only the appearance.

5. Demigod Armor

Look expensive. Feel valuable.

I kind of wish this golden beauty could make enemies kneel before you as they mistake you for a god. Or blind them with its reflection. The Demigod Armor is worn by Deimos, who is a high-ranking member of the Cult of Kosmos – the main bad guys in the game.

Why Demigod Armor is Great:

  • It’s perfect for all playstyles – stealthy or aggressive, there’s no need to change it for every battle
  • It gives you 10% overall damage and 25% melee weapon damage
  • Having all five pieces of the armor and all abilities gives you an extra 10% overall damage

How to get the Demigod Armor:

You can grab it by completing the quests Where It All Began and A Fresh Start.

4. Pilgrim Armor

Feel that classic assassin vibe.

Is it just me or it kind of resembles Altaïr’s armor from the first Assassin’s Creed game? It looks plain and simple, but don’t get fooled by its looks – it gives you powerful abilities.

Why Pilgrim Armor is Great:

  • It’s really effective for the stealthy playstyle
  • +125% hidden blade damage
  • +30% damage with daggers
  • +100% adrenaline on assassination kill
  • +30% adrenaline on each hit
  • +40% movement speed while crouching
  • -100% Adrenaline Consumed by Shadow of Nyx Ability (invisible when stationary)

How to get the Pilgrim Armor:

So you get all these bonuses if you own all five pieces of the armor. It’s quite a journey, as the name pilgrim suggests – you have to travel a lot.

You have to loot legendary chests in these temples:

  • The Akropolis of Argos in Argo
  • The Sanctuary of Eleusis in Attika
  • The Temple of Britomartis at Messara
  • The Temple of Artemis Orthia in Lakonia
  • The Temple of the Golden Bowed Goddess in Malis

3. Pegasos Armor

Be a living legend.

Pegasus - as depicted in the image above is a Greek mythical winged divine horse, which inspired this beautiful eye-catching armor. You can truly see the creative talent of Ubisoft just to come up with such an idea. The white feathers and silver armor plates make a perfect aesthetic combination and it’s also quite useful to wear it, too.

Why Pegasos Armor is Great:

  • You basically never run out of adrenaline as you gain more with each dodge
  • It’s perfect for aggressive playstyle
  • +75% melee weapon damage
  • +10% damage with swords
  • +10% adrenaline on assassination kill
  • +15% adrenaline on each hit
  • +5% movement speed while crouching
  • +50% adrenaline on dodge

How to get the Pegasos Armor:

The only way to get this armor is by spending money for the Pegasos Mythical Pack DLC, it costs 1500 Helix credits. You will also get a Pegasos skin for your horse and a legendary sword, truly a bargain!

2. Armor of the Fallen

Be the wraith of revenge.

It would be a really cool feature if you could strike fear into your enemies with this armor. Terrifying your foes was actually possible in AC: Syndicate’s Jack the Ripper DLC, so it could work similarly in Odyssey, too. Your hero truly looks like someone who just returned from the underworld. The armor includes probably the most intimidating helmet in the game.

Why Armor of the Fallen is Great:

  • It gives you a bonus to all 3 types of damage in the game
  • It’s the ultimate armor for those who like face to face fights
  • +50% melee weapon damage
  • +25% ranged damage
  • +50% hidden blade damage
  • Protects 50% of your health as it’s reduced when you are in Tartaros Rifts
  • Gives you access through the Tartaros Veil, which is the gateway to the underworld

How to get the Armor of the Fallen:

You need to have The Fate of Atlantis DLC to get all pieces of this magnificent armor.

Also, you have to complete a quest and eliminate powerful villains:

  • The quest Arms of Atonement
  • Kill The Poisoner
  • Kill Swordfish
  • Kill Epiktetos
  • Kill Deianeira

1. Spartan War Hero Armor

“Come back with your shield - or on it.”

Feel and look as sharp as a real Spartan - crimson red was their actual historically accurate choice. Spartans believed it was the most warlike color. And it would disguise their wounds so their enemy couldn’t see them bleeding. Why am I thinking about Deadpool right now?

Why Spartan War Hero Armor is Great:

  • It’s heavily focused on face to face slash action
  • Perfect for confrontational playstyle
  • +125% melee damage
  • +40% damage on Athenian soldiers
  • +10% critical hit chance
  • +50% critical hit damage
  • +20% damage with overpower abilities
  • +10% to overall damage
  • Having all pieces of the armor gives an extra +15% damage for your warrior abilities

How to get the Spartan War Hero Armor:

Piecing this armor together is a bit of a grind. It takes some sweat and blood. Or call it search and destroy - as you have to find and eliminate all six cultists from the Peloponnesian League. You have to progress the story to unlock all the cultists’ locations.
