Faze csgo has had a rocky history and many roster changes, but their longest-standing player Håvard “rain” Nygaard has really shown his worth recently. Rain played a massive role in both of Faze’s recent tournament wins, and has continued to be instrumental in all their matches in 2022. Since joining the Finnish organization, dycha and Ence have found consistent top placings at events throughout 2022, and he has been a leading factor in that success. Dycha currently sits with a 1.09 HLTV rating and has dramatically impacted his matches.

G2 has been one of the top teams in the world since huNter’s arrival, and huNter himself has been one of the leading factors in their successes. The Bosnian rifler has so far had a strong year averaging a 1.10 HLTV rating and a 1.09 IMPACT rating.

In 2022, Ninjas In Pajamas has not been the strongest adversary for most teams; however, REZ has been a light in the darkness for the team, boasting a 1.10 HLTV rating. The 24 year old Swedish rifler continues to impress, and with the new talents around him, we may see some tournament wins for NIP again very soon.

The Kazakhstani player has been part of the brains of the CIS team since their inception; however, he’s been able to keep up with the young team in the fragging department. Nikola Kovač is the cousin of huNter, and also, possibly, the best rifler to ever play Counter-Strike. The 25-year-old Bosnian has left his mark on the game. Since joining G2, NiKo has become a horror for all opponents, easily pulling out clutches and multi-frag rounds. The rifler has been nothing but dominant all year long, boasting a 1.21 HLTV rating, and has a ridiculous 1.35 IMPACT rating throughout 2022.

The 20-year-old Russian has risen through the ranks with his ex-Gambit teammates and has been a staple of what good fundamental play looks like. Ax1Le and his team have been impressive all 2022, and after a momentous first-place finish at the recent IEM Dallas event, Cloud9 looks to fight for the title of the best team in the world. Sergey currently sits at a 1.24 HLTV rating and has shown out with his 85.4 ADR.

Sh1ro has been steadily improving since his time playing for Gambit Youngsters, now reaching incredible heights under his new organization. The 20-year-old dons a stunning 0.51 DPR, average along with a great HLTV rating of 1.26.

One in his name, and he is still number one in the game. The Ukrainian beast Aleksandr Kostyliev has been nothing short of the best in 2022, holding a 1.44 IMPACT rating, a 1.34 HLTV rating, and an insane 0.88 KPR stat. This guy has been unstoppable! However, with Natus Vincere’s recent roster struggles, the team may suffer, but S1mple will likely continue to be the best player Counter-Strike has ever seen.
