The total dust value of these cards is over 3000 dust. 6 of them are legendaries, rewarded after completing each of the 5 wings, 9 of them class cards acquired by completing each class challenge and the other 15 neutral cards are acquired by defeating each of the 15 bosses. This solo adventure also includes a Heroic Mode, which is significantly harder to complete and awards players a special card back after defeating its final boss Kel’Thuzad. Despite being the first solo adventure in the game, Curse of Naxxramas is home to some of the most powerful cards in the game. Around half of the 30 cards acquired in this solo adventure are commonly seen in the meta-game 6 years after its release.

Pick Curse of Naxxramas if:

  • You want to see what the first solo adventure of Hearthstone was like

3. The League of Explorers

The League of Explorers is Hearthstone’s third solo adventure. It was released on November 12, 2015 and it features 45 new cards, acquired by completing an assortment of boss battles and Class Challenges. This adventure brought one of the most widely used Key-Words in the game – Discover. The League of Explorers follows the story of four famed adventurers – Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Elise Starseeker, Brann Bronzebeard and Reno Jackson – on a mission to search for an ancient artifact – the Staff of Origination. After each of the 4 wings of the solo adventure is completed, players receive a piece of the Staff of Origination, bringing them closer to completing it. However, there are many enemies along the way, who are trying to sabotage the famous adventurers. The total dust value of the cards players get from completing the whole adventure is 3170 dust. After each boss is defeated, players are awarded 2 new cards. Wings consist of 3 or 4 boss battles and after completing each of the wings, players receive 2 additional cards, one of which is a legendary card.

Pick the League of Explorers if:

  • You want to play powerful highlander decks, as one of the rewards for completing the first wing of the solo adventure is Reno Jackson,

It was released on January 21, 2020 and it features 35 new collectible cards, which unlike in other solo adventures can’t be crafted for dust yet. The only way to acquire those cards is by completing the solo adventure. This is the best solo adventure to get because it is part of the standard format and many of its cards are commonly used in the standard metagame. The adventure is split into 2 different campaigns following the League of E.V.I.L. and the League of Explorers. Each of those campaigns has 4 wings, with 3 boss battles each. There is a Heroic Mode included as well and completing each of the 2 campaigns in it will win you a special card back. Galakrond’s Awakening follows the story of the villain Rafaam, who is trying to summon the evil dragon Galakrond and destroy everything. He recruits a team of villains called the League of E.V.I.L. and together they steal the magical city of Dalaran and unleash many plagues. However, the League of Explorers manages to stop them from taking over the whole Azeroth. Nearly all of the cards from this solo adventure are used in the standard metagame, which makes this set very valuable.
