[Top 15] LOL Best Champions For Each Role (Latest Patch)

[Top 15] LOL Best Champions For Each Role (Latest Patch)
They don't know who they're messing with.

So this season, you have set a goal for yourself to finally reach a high rank, but you just don’t know what champions to main currently or who’s strong enough to get you to your desired rank. Well, worry no longer, as today I’ll be listing some of the best champions for each role in the current patch, which is 13.6.

Each role will have three different champions mentioned so that everyone is included equally. Keep in mind that some of these champions mentioned fulfill different roles in the game, and some will be harder to play while others will be easier. I will also go into detail to explain to you how and at what these champions excel and when they should be picked. With that knowledge, let’s get into this article!

15. Rakan (Support)

“Let’s tango!”

Let us start this list off with a support champion who can charm anyone on the summoner’s rift with his great personality. Even though he has chicken legs, he does look fancy as hell, I can’t lie. But when it comes to Rakan, he’s someone who jumps into danger with his W “Grand Entrance.”. After jumping into the danger he can also get out easily with E “Battle Dance.”

But if those abilities aren’t enough, Rakan can charm the whole enemy team with the R “The Quickness”. He is great at starting fights or simply sacrificing himself for his teammates so that they can live and win the match. Keep in mind that he isn't as tanky as Leona, but he gets the job done with his CC from the W “Grand Entrance” and the R “The Quickness.”

Why Rakan Is Great For a Support Role:

  • Because of his W “Grand Entrance,” he can easily set up an ambush or engage in a fight.
  • Rakan can easily get out of a tough situation with his E “Battle Dance” if a teammate is nearby which allows for risky plays.
  • The champion works really well in any team composition so you don’t have to think about filling a certain role.
  • Rakan can charm the enemy team with his R “The Quickness” which allows for some great crowd control and destroys the enemy formation completely.

Rakan Is Strong Against:

  • Zyra
  • Ashe
  • Pantheon
  • Amumu
  • Braum

Rakan Is Weak Against:

  • Taric
  • Senna
  • Renata Glasc
  • Annie
  • Maokai

14. Swain (Mid)

“Anything is worth victory.”

Let’s talk about the pigeon emperor, Swain, and why he is so damn fabulous. You see, he used to be played religiously as a support, but due to some changes, he straight up became a god in the mid-lane. What changed my frens is his passive “Ravenous Flock,” which increases his HP for each soul fragment he collects, and his R “Demonic Ascension,” which pretty much works indefinitely as long as he can drain HP from other enemies.

Due to these changes, he works damn well in the mid-lane. Since he’s an AP champion, he is great at pushing lanes and poking enemies with his Q “Death’s Hand.” Additionally, he is also good at roaming and ganking other lanes because of the E “Nevermore,” which roots and pulls targets toward Swain. If you play this guy correctly, use your abilities at the correct time, and collect a lot of soul fragments, you can become unkillable in the late game.

Why Swain Is Great For Mid Role:

  • Since he is good at pushing and poking targets during the laning phase that gives him more opportunities to gank different lanes and help out his teammates.
  • Swain is good at roaming and ganking lanes because of his E “Nevermore,” which roots targets and doesn’t let them move for a few seconds. That is perfect for setting up kills for yourself or for your teammates.
  • Since the W “Vision of Empire” gives vision to his team it’s a great ability to scout ahead before ganking or scout objectives such as dragons or heralds.
  • If you collect a lot of soul fragments his passive “Ravenous Flock” will increase his maximum HP.
  • His ultimate ability, “Demonic Ascension,” deals AoE damage and sucks enemies' health. It can be used indefinitely as long as the ability is sucking health from enemies which is really good during team fights.

Swain Is Strong Against:

  • Rell
  • Braum
  • Maokai
  • Alistar
  • Bard

Swain Is Weak Against:

  • Vel’Koz
  • Sona
  • Heimerdinger
  • Xerath
  • Zyra

13. Veigar (Mid)

“I am not tiny, I am evil!”

Here we have another mid-lane champion who can increase one of his stats. The stat that he can increase is his ability power by killing minions with his Q “Baleful Strike.” In the early game, Veigar will be nothing more than a canon minion, but if you manage to farm a lot and stack a lot of ability power, he can be considered a walking nuclear bomb.

He will deal so much damage to enemies that he will be able to kill them with a single ability. The only reason I’m putting him so high on the list is that he has no mobility and can’t do much if an assassin or anyone else gets close to him. I mean, he can lock other people or himself in a cage with his E “Event Horizon,” but this ability is great if you want to limit the amount of space the enemies can move around, which makes it easier for you to hit them with your abilities.

Why Veigar Is Great For Mid Role:

  • Veigar is able to stack his ability power infinitely, or as long as the match is going on which makes him a formidable opponent in the late-game.
  • In the late-game stage Veigar is able to kill anyone with his ultimate “Primordial Burst” and the ability deals more damage the more HP a target is missing.
  • Almost nobody is able to escape his E “Event Horizon” it is great for zoning enemy targets or stopping them from pushing a lane or when playing against an assassin.

Veigar Is Strong Against:

  • Azir
  • Yone
  • Rumble
  • Gangplank
  • Ryze

Veigar Is Weak Against:

  • Anivia
  • Annie
  • Gragas
  • Zed
  • Fizz

12. Sona (Support)

“I will burst their eardrums!”

Now we have another support champion who has everything she needs in her kit to keep her team alive. She can heal them with the W “Aria of Perseverance,” which works in an AoE radius. And she can speed them up with the E “Song of Celerity,” which also works in an AoE radius. Anyone close enough will be buffed by these abilities.

But the most important ability in my opinion has to be her Q “Hymn of Valor,” which deals damage to anyone who gets close to Sona when activated. It’s also a great ability to steal kills from your ADC if they annoy you, 10/10 would recommend. There’s also her ultimate “Crescendo,” which makes people dance if they get hit by it.

It’s great when your team is being chased by the enemy or during team fights, as it disables them from attacking for a few short seconds. There is also her passive ability, which can apply different debuffs on the enemy team after she casts three abilities in a row. The type of debuff depends on the last ability she cast.

Why Sona Is Great For a Support Role:

  • Sona has great utility in her kit and she is able to keep her teammates and herself alive for as long as she has mana.
  • Her healing works in an AoE range which means anyone who is around the champion will be healed.
  • Sona is also able to give herself and her teammates’ movement speed which comes in very handy when chasing down someone or trying to run away or when you need a boost of movement speed to dodge skill shots.
  • Sona’s ability to stun multiple targets with the ultimate “Crescendo” gives the opportunity for some high-risk and high-reward plays.
  • The debuffs that Sona applies with her auto-attacks; come in really handy in team fights or against targets who are snowballing in the early to mid-game.

Sona Is Strong Against:

  • Swain
  • Karma
  • Heimerdinger
  • Karma
  • Zyra

Sona Is Weak Against:

  • Blitzcrank
  • Renata Glasc
  • Maokai
  • Taric
  • Janna

11. Nocturne (Jungle)

“Let the darkness in!”

Now, we have our first jungle champion on this list, and it’s none other than Nocturne, and he’s classified as an assassin. So if the enemy team has picked a lot of squishy champions that you know you can easily demolish, just pick Nocturne and ruin their day.

Nocturne is also great at ganking because of his R “Paranoia,” which turns off the lights and gives the champion a chance to lunge at a close opponent. Once he gets close, Nocturne can easily overpower them with his kit as his Q “Duskbringer” attaches to a target and leaves behind a trail that increases Nocturne’s movement speed.

If you charge at someone who can easily root or stun you, then you can simply block it with the W “Shroud of Darkness” and attach to them with the E “Unspeakable Horror,” which fears them after some time. He is also great at clearing the jungle camps if you were wondering.

Why Nocturne Is Great For The Jungle Role:

  • Nocturne clears his jungle camps quickly because of the passive “Umbra Blades,” which hit anyone in front of him.
  • The fear from his E “Unspeakable Horror” comes in useful when going up against someone who is able to kill Nocturne, the fear stops them in their tracks and allows Nocturne to kill them instead.
  • If the enemy team has decided to play a lot of squishy champions Nocturne counters them all as he is an assassin after all and his kit grants him the opportunity to get close to them easily.
  • If you manage to hit the Q “Duskbringer” on a target, they will leave a trail behind that increases the champion’s overall movement speed. Great for catching up to people who have any dash-type abilities.

Nocturne Is Strong Against:

  • Zed
  • Rek’Sai
  • Shyvana
  • Elise
  • Fiddlesticks

Nocturne Is Weak Against:

  • Rammus
  • Sejuani
  • Wukong
  • Hecarim
  • Nunu & Willump

10. Kled (Top)

“It’s time to go to war!”

Time to take a stroll to the top lane and talk about Kled, the champion who has two damn health bars. Well, you see that animal that he rides, yeah, it has a separate health bar that can come back after his passive “Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard,” charges up fully. If you’re a top-lane player playing against this champion for the first time, I feel sorry for you. When it comes to the champion and his kit, he’s not that bad.

He can deal damage and tank it himself, and he can be hard to take down if a few items are purchased. Kled also has different abilities depending on if he’s riding on his lizard or not. While riding on the lizard, his abilities are for close quarters, but if he’s off the lizard, his abilities become for long-range combat. Also, when the lizard dies, Kled becomes untargetable for a few seconds. You can use this time to cheese the enemy laner.

Why Kled Is Great For Top Role:

  • Kled has his two health bars and he can be really hard to take down no matter what the stage of a match is.
  • He becomes untargetable for a few seconds when Skaarl the lizard dies. It can be a great tactic to cheese the enemy team into thinking they can kill you or it can be good when diving under a tower.
  • Because of the dash in his kit from his E “Jousting” it can be great for escaping a jungler who came to gank you or getting over small obstacles or walls.
  • Since Kled can pull people closer to him if he hits them with his Q “Bear Trap On A Rope,” which is great for catching and getting close to enemies who are trying to run away.

Kled Is Strong Against:

  • Gangplank
  • Akali
  • Vladimir
  • Yorick
  • Rumble

Kled Is Weak Against:

  • Quinn
  • Tahm Kench
  • Camille
  • Fiora
  • Teemo

9. Draven (ADC)

“It’s my turn to play!”

Oh boy, now here we have our first ADC champion on the list, and it's none other than Draven the champion, who can one-shot squishy targets with a single auto-attack. The only way that he can do that is with items and his Q “Spinning Axe,” which is an empowered auto-attack.

Draven can also run toward his enemies with W “Blood Rush,” which gets reset each time he catches his Q “Spinning Axe,” and pushes people to the side, slowing them down with the E “Stand Aside.” Additionally, Draven can kill anyone from any point on the map with his R “Whirling Death,” as it’s a global ability.

Yes, he is one of those rare champions that has a global ultimate ability, but thankfully it’s really hard to land and it can take a lot of practice and luck to hit an enemy from across the whole map. Draven is a great ADC champion if you know how to play him, as he’s really hard to get into.

Why Draven Is Great For ADC Role:

  • Draven’s ultimate ability, “Whirling Death,” can execute people depending on how many stacks of glory he has from his passive “League of Draven.”
  • If Draven has enough AD he can kill squishy champions with a single auto-attack. Additionally, that extra damage comes in useful if you want to snowball a match in the early game or you need to solo carry a match.
  • Since it is currently tank meta the additional damage from his auto-attacks comes in very handy at handling opponents who have a huge health bar.
  • Draven can easily catch up to people because his W “Blood Rush” gives him movement speed and gets reset each time he catches an axe from his Q “Spinning Axe.”
  • The E “Stand Aside” pushes people to the side and slows them down which gives Draven and his team an opportunity to catch up to agile targets.

Draven Is Strong Against:

  • Vayne
  • Kalista
  • Caitlyn
  • Cho’Gath
  • Aphelios

Draven Is Weak Against:

  • Nilah
  • Seraphine
  • Kog’Maw
  • Twitch
  • Karthus

8. Kai’Sa (ADC)

“I want to save this planet!”

The daughter of the void, better known as Kai’Sa, is a weird ADC, I have to say. She can do both AP and AD damage or something in between. But people have recently been building her full AP, and she can do some serious damage to anyone. Of course, if your team has two AP champions, I recommend that you build her AD, but then again, it’s up to you.

The main ability that decimates people when she goes full AP is her W, “Void Seeker.” It’s a skill-shot ability, and it can be quite tricky to hit someone with it. Her other abilities are her Q “Icathian Rain,” which shoots out a swarm of missiles, and her E “Supercharge,” which increases her attack speed.

But the weirdest thing about the ADC is her R “Killer Instinct,” where she charges at the enemy. Thankfully, she gains a shield while doing it, but it goes against all the principles of being an ADC. A lot of people know that to play the ADC, you have to keep your distance from the enemy and only take fights that you can win, but with her, you throw all of that out the window and charge at the enemy head-on.

Why Kai’Sa Is Great For ADC Role:

  • Kai’Sa can build both AP and AD which come in clutch. If your team lacks AP or AD damage you can fill that role.
  • Kai’Sa can charge into the enemy with her R “Killer Instinct” to get close to them to deal damage or to catch up to someone who is trying to run away with low HP.
  • She is a stronger ADC than the usual ones because of the fact that she can evolve her abilities and make them stronger than they already are which in turn just makes her a stronger ADC.
  • Kai’Sa is good at clearing out enemies or huge minion waves with her Q “Icathian Rain.”

Kai’Sa Is Strong Against:

  • Cho’Gath
  • Aphelios
  • Kalista
  • Vayne
  • Ezreal

Kai’Sa Is Weak Against:

  • Kog’Maw
  • Zeri
  • Jinx
  • Xayah
  • Twitch

7. Vi (Jungle)

“Time to knock down a wall.”

Did the enemy team pick a few tanks and they feel like a wall that you can’t go through? Well, if that seems to be the case with you, how about you knock those walls down with Vi? The way she deals with tanks so easily is because of her W “Denting Blows,” which lower the amount of armor the other target has.

She can also blast through multiple enemies with her E “Relentless Force,” which is a great ability for farming the jungle and going through it quickly. Also, when playing this champion, don’t worry about your enemy escaping, as Vi can easily close the distance with her Q “Vault Breaker” and the R “Cease and Desist.”

Additionally, the R can also knock people up, and while Vi is charging at her designated target, she can’t be stopped with any type of crowd control. That is great when you use the ability on someone and they go behind their teammates to protect themselves, but little do they know nothing can stop this champion from blasting them into the stratosphere.

Why Vi Is Great For Jungle Role:

  • Due to the E “Relentless Force” dealing damage to multiple targets, she can clear the jungle quickly.
  • Vi has multiple abilities that allow her to close the distance between herself and the enemy and it makes ganking lanes or killing targets way easier.
  • While charging at a target with the ultimate “Cease and Desist” she becomes immune to crowd control abilities.
  • Because her W “Denting Blows” reduces a target’s armor it comes in handy against tanky opponents or targets who have a lot of HP.
  • Vi also gains a shield from her passive “Blast Shield,” which activates after she uses an ability, and in some situations, it can save her life.
  • The Q “Vault Breaker” is great for getting close to enemies or getting away from them when you’re in danger. It can also be a great ability for getting around the jungle quicker.

Vi Is Strong Against:

  • Lilia
  • Shyvana
  • Sylas
  • Graves
  • Nidalee

Vi Is Weak Against:

  • Trundle
  • Rengar
  • Kindred
  • Wukong
  • Rek’Sai

6. Taric (Support)

“Who called upon me?”

Here we have the last support on this list, and it’s none other than Taric himself. You see, this champion can seriously do some mental damage to the enemy team. The reason for that is that he can make his teammates and himself immortal for a short time with his ultimate “Cosmic Radiance.” The only downside to this ability is that it has a long charge-up time, and your team has to be in the little circle around Taric to become immortal.

In low ranks, nobody pays attention to that, sadly, and it can be quite hard to land the ability. But Taric can also stun other people with the E “Dazzle” or heal his teammates with the Q “Starlight Touch.” To make your life easier, you can also connect to a teammate with the W “Bastion,” which increases their armor, and any abilities cast by Taric will also be cast off by the ally who has the W “Bastion” applied to them.

Why Taric Is Great For a Support Role:

  • Since his W “Bastion” increases his teammate’s armor rating it allows them to stay alive longer and makes them tankier.
  • Because teammates who have W “Bastion” applied to them will be able to cast off Taric’s abilities and it makes it much easier to land them.
  • Taric is able to make his teammates immortal with his R “Cosmic Radiance” and in many situations it can turn a defeat into a victory.
  • The champion can heal himself and his teammate who has the W “Bastion” on them with the Q “Starlight Touch.”
  • Taric can stun anyone who gets hit by the E “Dazzle” and he is great against a team who have at the very least 2-3 assassins.

Taric Is Strong Against:

  • Pantheon
  • Maokai
  • Vel’Koz
  • Karma
  • Twitch

Taric Is Weak Against:

  • Zyra
  • Morgana
  • Bard
  • Zilean
  • Annie

5. Warwick (Jungle)

“Who let the dogs out?”

It’s time to talk about the big bad wolf in the jungle. Most people didn’t expect him here, and frankly, I didn’t expect him here either, but recently he’s become quite popular due to some recent buffs. In general, Warwick is about running around and killing people who have low HP. Because when enemies are low HP Warwick gains movement speed and can run toward them faster.

That passive comes from his W “Blood Hunt.” Additionally, he can also activate the ability to run after anyone who is in range when the ability is active. Once he gets close enough to the enemy, Warwick can jump onto them with the R “Infinite Duress”, maul their faces off, or jump at them with the Q “Jaws of the Beast” to take a piece off of them.

Warwick can also reduce the damage he takes in general because of his E “Primal Howl,” and if used a second time, Warwick will fear anyone close to him. Warwick is a great little puppy who runs around the map mauling enemies and can be a great jungler. Ganking lanes is easy with him, and anyone who dares to challenge him in a 1v1 battle will get their face bitten. It is not a pleasant time.

Why Warwick Is Great For Jungle Role:

  • Warwick has a lot of life steal in his kit, and he can survive a long time in the jungle without needing to go back to base to regenerate his HP.
  • The reason that he can reduce the damage he takes is because of his E “Primal Howl,” which is great when you jump in the middle of the enemy team.
  • If someone is low HP Warwick will gain movement speed while moving towards them.
  • His life steal is increased with the lower amount of HP he has and he will deal bonus magic damage with his auto-attacks all because of his passive “Eternal Hunger.”

Warwick Is Strong Against:

  • Nidalee
  • Zed
  • Rengar
  • Diana
  • Amumu

Warwick Is Weak Against:

  • Trundle
  • Volibear
  • Rammus
  • Gragas
  • Shaco

4. Mordekaiser (Top)

“I am made out of metal!”

Here we have a menace to the top lane called Mordekaiser. He was one of the founders of Noxus, and when he died, he turned the whole realm of death into his b**ch. Mordekaiser is an AP bruiser or a mage fighter, whichever one you want to call him. But in short, that means he will have a lot of HP and he will deal a lot of damage.

You can also play the champion in the jungle if you desire, but it is all up to you. When it comes to Mordekaiser, he is all about disabling the enemy hard carry from fighting your team, and he does that by sending him to the shadow realm with his R “Realm of Death.”

In his ultimate he is stronger and better than the enemy and if he manages to kill someone his base stats will be increased until the enemy respawns. Mordekaiser can also give himself a shield with the W “Indestructible” and pull people closer with the E “Death’s Grasp.” Nobody shall meet this titan and escape with their lives.

Why Mordekaiser Is Great For Top Role:

  • Mordekaiser can easily 1v1 anyone in the top lane because of the shield from his W “Indestructible.”
  • If someone is trying to run away from Mordekaiser, he can pull them closer to himself with the E “Death’s Grasp” which makes it really hard to get away from Mordekaiser.
  • He can take out the enemy's hard carry from a fight with his R “Realm of Death” so his team doesn’t have to worry about that target during an important team fight.
  • If Mordekaiser manages to kill a target in his ultimate “Realm of Death” he will become stronger and harder to kill which is great for trying to solo-carry a match or if all of your teammates are dead.
  • His passive “Darkness Rise” deals damage in a small area around him, damaging anyone around him and the ability is able to apply some item’s effects on multiple targets at once.

Mordekaiser Is Strong Against:

  • Volibear
  • K’Sante
  • Renekton
  • Shen
  • Sion

Mordekaiser Is Weak Against:

  • Vayne
  • Poppy
  • Olaf
  • Singed
  • Jax

3. Karthus (ADC)

“Are you ready to meet your maker?”

Here we have Karthus, the death singer, but not in the jungle role; oh no, he is in the ADC role, and god damn, he is strong as hell there. The reason for that is because of his Q “Lay Waste,” which deals extra damage to single targets and is great for farming minions.

He can also slow people down with the W “Wall of Pain” so the support has an easier time hitting his skill shots or stuns. Same as Draven, this guy too has an ultimate ability that’s global, but unlike that one, this one doesn’t require any skill whatsoever.

All you have to do is press R, “Requiem,” and it will deal damage to any enemy champion that’s alive. The best part about this ability is that it’s so easy to steal kills from anyone else on your team. Even if they did all of the work, all you have to do is press R, and you get yourself some gold. That’s true capitalism if you ask me.

Why Karthus Is Great For ADC Role:

  • If Karthus dies, his ghost stays behind for a while so he can cast abilities, and that’s from his passive “Death Defied” which is great for diving people under the tower.
  • The Q “Lay Waste” deals extra damage to single targets and this applies to minions which makes it way easier to farm them.
  • Because Karthus can slow down a whole team if he manages to place a nice wall from his W “Wall of Pain.”
  • The E “Defile” gives Karthus mana for each entity killed and that’s the ability passive but when it comes to the active it deals AoE damage around Karthus.

Karthus Is Strong Against:

  • Vayne
  • Kog’Maw
  • Aphelios
  • Miss Fortune
  • Samira

Karthus Is Weak Against:

  • Kalista
  • Zeri
  • Xayah
  • Varus
  • Sivir

2. Cassiopeia (Mid)

“You can’t escape my grasp.”

She slithered her way straight to the number-two spot. I even thought about placing her in the number one spot, but I sadly couldn't, as there was someone stronger than her right now. When it comes to Cassiopeia, she’s all about turning people into stone with her R “Petrifying Gaze” and dealing damage to them with the E “Twin Fang.”

The damage of this ability can be increased if you use your Q “Noxious Blast” or W “Miasma” on the enemy first. There is also a weird twist on the champion that only she has and none others. The twist is that the champion can’t buy boots, but she gains movement speed at each level.

This is kind of weird, as other champions who don’t have legs can still purchase boots. But I get it; I understand. When it comes to Cassiopeia, she’s all about dealing with damage, and she can carry any match without a problem. Especially if you managed to land her ultimate ability and hit at least 3-4 enemy targets.

Why Cassiopeia Is Great For Mid Role:

  • Cassiopeia can turn multiple people to stone with her R “Petrifying Gaze,” which can turn a losing team fight into a winning one.
  • The damage on her E “Twin Fang” is increased if an enemy target has been hit with Q “Noxious Blast” or W “Miasma” which comes in really handy when bursting down targets.
  • Cassiopeia gains movement speed if she manages to hit a target with the Q “Noxious Blast” it can be great for kiting targets or when someone is chasing you it’s much easier to run away this way.
  • Anyone who stands in the W’s “Miasma” won’t be able to use any dashes or flashes, and she is a great counter to agile champions.

Cassiopeia Is Strong Against:

  • Ryze
  • Corki
  • Swain
  • Irelia
  • Sylas

Cassiopeia Is Weak Against:

  • Cho’Gath
  • Zoe
  • Twisted Fate
  • Anivia
  • Aurelion Sol

1. Jax (Top)

“Oh, it’s raining… I thought I was sweating against these fools.”

And here we are with the best champion in the game currently. Since his recent changes, Jax has been terrorizing the rift with his powers. Before he could go AD and AP and both of those were equal in power but now you can still go AD or AP or both but AP is way damn stronger. Like Riot Games, why did you change the numbers? All you had to do was update his visuals and ability icons, and that was it.

You see, Jax mainly deals damage with his auto-attacks, and to help him deal even more damage, he has his W “Empower,” which empowers his next auto-attack. But also, the more he attacks someone, the more attack speed he gains. It’s like this champion is constantly on crack. Jax also gains a lot of magic resistance and armor from his R “Grandmaster-At-Arms” and deals magic damage to anyone who is around him when the ability is used. Amazing, isn’t it?

Oh, and if the enemy team has picked a lot of champions who also deal damage from auto-attacks, they won’t have a good time as his E “Counter-Strike” gives him the ability to dodge all auto-attacks while he spins his staff cosplaying a helicopter, and if anyone is close when the duration of the ability ends, they will be stunned. Jax is a great fighting champion, and if you need someone to give you a free LP but you don’t feel like playing tank champions, then he is the one for you!

Why Jax Is Great For Top Role:

  • Jax’s passive “Relentless Assault” gives him more attack speed the more he attacks someone that helps him out a lot as his main source of damage comes from his auto-attacks..
  • He can jump long distances with his Q “Leap Strike,” and the ability can be used on anything that you can click on which is great for catching people or getting close to them to kill them.
  • The E “Counter-Strike” allows Jax to dodge all auto-attacks and stuns anyone who is near him which is amazing against champions who specialize in dealing damage with auto-attacks.
  • The R “Grandmaster-At-Arms” increases his armor and magic resistance and, upon activation, also deals magic damage to anyone who is around him.
  • Additionally, Jax can build either AD or AP or both, which is amazing and gives you different build paths, and not every match will revolve around you building the same items on him.

Jax Is Strong Against:

  • Yorick
  • Alistar
  • Volibear
  • Yasuo
  • Yone

Jax Is Weak Against:

  • Pantheon
  • Jayce
  • Quinn
  • Malphite
  • Singed
