Tekken 7 has a wide range of different characters with different styles, from defensive characters to party characters. 

But today in our top 10 list, we will talk about one of the most fun character archetypes in the game. Aggressive characters.

What makes this type of character so fun is how they do a crazy amount of damage and excerpt an insane amount of pressure on the opponent making them panic and not even dare press buttons against you.

So here is the Top 10 list for the best and most feared aggressive characters in the game.

 

10.) Hwoarang

Starting with our list is the Korean taekwondo master, Hwoarang.

Being a taekwondo master, Hwoarang crest immense pressure with a barrage of kicks and stance changes. This combined with the fact that he has a wave-dash helps him go in and create immense pressure on the opponent.

Hwoarang strengths include:

  • Has a wave-dash
  • One of the best-armored moves in the game
  • 4 different stances
  • A lot of mix-up moves
  • Can cancel some moves
  • Long strings

While she doesn’t have an insanely great movement like some of the characters on this list, she makes it up with the big amounts of mix-ups and of course, her guard break moves.

Lidia’s strengths include:

  • Guard break moves
  • Good poking tools

8.) Heihachi

The father of Kazuya Mishima, and the creator of The King of Iron Fist Tournament (Tekken).

Out of the 3 Mishima’s on this list (more on them later),  “The King of Mids” specializes in locking down the opponent with his wave dash timings and of course his mids.

 Heihachi’s strengths include:

  • Has a wave dash ( All Mishamas have a wave dash)
  • Has very strong pressure mid tools
  • Good mix-up tools
  • Has Mishima staple pressure moves (Like EWGF and hell sweeps)

King is the embodiment of a grappling character in this game.

Having the most grabs, longest, and most damaging grabs in the whole game. King creates pressure using these grabs with the combination of his great fast counter-hit moves.

Also, his grabs need to be broken in a certain way depending on which grab he uses.

  • Best grabs in the game

  • Great counter hit moves
  • Good lockdown moves

Even though he is big, Bob is a very agile character and aggressive character.

Similar to most characters on this list he has a wave dash but unlike the rest he a quite array of evasive moves and pokes.

Bob’s strengths include:

  • Good range

  • Good mix-ups

Son of Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya is the most loyal to the Mishima fighting styles.

Unlike the rest of the Mishima, Kazuya uses his very powerful and solid 50/50 mix-up tools to break through the opponents.

He also arguably has the highest damage and best EWGF between his relatives.

Kazuya’s strengths include:

  • Best EWGF in-game
  • A wave dash
  • Insane 50/50 mix-ups
  • Crazy high damage
  • Can switch to Devil form

4.) Leroy

Leroy may not have fancy wave dashes or guard breaks, but he does make it up with his insane mix-ups and combo damage.

And even if you don't die to his combos, you sure will die to his good damage mix-up moves. 

Leroy's strengths include:

  • A parry that parries any mid or high moves
  • Very fast moves
  • High-pressure tools

He also has long-range, surprisingly evasive movements, and of course his tackle.

The more rounded of all the Mishima, Devil jin is more a jack of all trades of the Mishima family.

Not only does he has the typical Mishima tools, (wave dash, EWGF, and Hell sweeps). But he also has a wide variety of good range mids and pokes.

Devil Jin’s strengths include:

  • Great mid moves
  • Solid pokes
  • A wave dash
  • High mix-up tools
  • Some evasive moves

1.)  Fahkumram

Fahkumram is a muay Thai champion who breaks the opponents by demolishing their defense on the battlefield.

Fakhumrams long-range combined with his crazy poke mix-ups allows him to create immense pressure on the opponent. He also has a unique and very powerful guard break.

Fahkumram’s strengths include:

  • Has longest range in-game
  • Pokes that can convert into mix-ups
  • Guard break moves
  • Crazy fast pressure moves
