Vermintide 2 Best Builds For Every Career
No need to look on in envy of other's loot anymore, make earning your own easier.

7. Ranger Veteran

Capable of fighting at a range and in close, the Ranger Veteran incorporates stealth to reposition himself as well as rescue his teammates.

Talents

Level 5: Apply Pressure (Increases effect of healing by 30%)

The Disengage ability can give you some time to heal mid-fight and this talent gives you even more health to work with.

Level 10: No Dawdling! (Increases movement speed by 5%)

Perhaps not the most noticeable improvement, but getting out of gas or troll bile sooner or closing the distance on a disable ally quicker could make a difference.

Level 15: Grungni’s Cunning (Increases ammo gained from Bardin’s Survivalist caches to 30%)

All the level 15 talents are good, but if you’re uncertain which one to pick, then Grungni’s Cunning is not a bad choice because it’s more general in nature.

Level 20: Grudge-Borne (Kills grant 2 temporary health)

Level 25: Ranger’s Ambush (Increases the duration of Disengage’s stealth to 14 seconds)

Even though you have to be in the area where you activated the ability to gain the bonus power and stealth, the Disengage skill is still pretty useful. The extra 4 seconds can be spent clearing out some of the enemies before you revive a teammate.

Weapons

Melee: Axe and Shield/Warhammer. The axe and shield helps when fending off a horde, while the warhammer does a good amount of damage which can be useful while under the effects of the Disengage stealth.

Ranged: Handgun/Crossbow/Grudge-Raker

The handgun and crossbow are good for killing special enemies. The grudge-raker is powerful against hordes, its only flaw is ammo count which the Ranger Veteran nullifies with a bonus 50% ammo capacity as well as the Survivalist ability.

6. Shade

A master of stealth, the Shade can hide from sight to save her teammates or assassinate her enemies.

Talents

Level 5: Shadowstep (Increase dodge distance by 20%)

A good choice for evading foes while waiting for your career skill to cooldown.

Level 10: Gladerunner (Increases movement speed by 5%)

Sometimes you don’t want to or can’t carry a grimoire with you, for that, this talent is a decent choice for repositioning yourself or getting to your target sooner.

Level 15: Ereth Khial’s Herald (Assassin’s blade is increased to 75% additional damage when attacking enemies from behind.)

A significant boost to single target damage, works well against bosses.

Level 20: Khaine’s Thirst (Kills grant 2 temporary health)

Level 25: Veilwalker (Increases duration of Infiltrate to 15 seconds)

Sometimes your whole team dies and you need to free them from capture and perhaps the additional 5 seconds is enough to reach them before the enemies catch you.

Weapons

Melee: Dual Daggers/Glaive. The glaive is still the best melee weapon for kerillian, but the dual daggers make it much easier to backstab things

Ranged: Longbow/Volley Crossbow
