Vermintide 2 Best Builds For Every Career
No need to look on in envy of other's loot anymore, make earning your own easier.

5. Slayer

The Slayer is a fearless warrior that leaps into the fray, getting stronger the more he fights.

Talents

Level 5: Stoutfellow (Increases max health by 25%)

As the Slayer, you’ll often be in middle of the fight, the extra health might keep you from going down.

Level 10: Oblivious to Pain (damage taken from one attack is reduced to 10 or half of its original value, whichever is highest)

The higher the difficulty setting, the more damage this talent reduces.

Level 15: Moving Target (Trophy Hunter also reduces damage taken by 10% for each stack)

A very good way to reduce damage since all you have to do to get Trophy Hunter stacks is hit something.

Level 20: Grudge-Borne (Kills grant 2 temporary health)

Level 25: No Escape (Leap also increases movement speed by 25% for the duration)

The movement speed boost will help you retreat, find the perfect position to fight the horde and keep up with a boss that’s chasing an ally.

Weapons

First melee: Dual Axes. The dual axes are perfect for getting Trophy Hunter stacks.

Second melee: Hammer/Warhammer/War Pick. You’ll need a weapon that’s good against hordes.

4. Unchained

Ferocious in both ranged and melee combat, the Unchained may still be a wizard, but she is not afraid to take the fight to her enemies.

Talents

Level 5: Form of the Fire Wind (Increases max overcharge by 25%)

Managing your overcharge level is critical to the Unchained, damage is reduced by half but that other half goes to your overcharge and your power increases based on how much overcharge you have. It should be a little easier to prevent overcharge based self-destructs with this talent.

Level 10: Seared Nerves (Revived allies take 50% less damage for 10 seconds)

As always with durable careers, you’ll probably be one of the last to go down so the talent has a higher chance of being used.

Level 15: Natural Talent (Reduces overcharge generated by 15%)

This talent allows you to use your ranged weapon a bit more without having to worry about venting.

Level 20: Soul Snare (Kills grant 2 temporary health)

Level 25: Tick, Tick, Tick… (Reduces the cooldown of Living Bomb by 30%)

Living Bomb, the Unchained’s career skill, is great to have at the ready in case your overcharge maxes out before your health fully depletes, either of which will bring you down. Therefore, the reduced cooldown is quite lovely.

3. Waywatcher

Firing a volley of arrows at her foes from afar, the Waywatcher is a force to be rekoned with when it comes to ranged combat.

Talents

Level 5: Morai Heg’s Scorn (Increases critical hit chance by 5%)

Scoring a critical hit on specials with more health like globadiers can still result in a one shot kill without having to hit them in the head.

Level 10: Daughter of the Hunt (While above 45% health, your critical hits receive a 30% power boost)

When combined with Morai-Heg’s Scorn, the damage output is decent against bosses.

Level 15: Rejuvenating Locus (Amaranthe also affects the other members of the party)

A solid choice to keep the team afloat until healing items are found.

Level 20: Khaine’s Thirst (Kills grant 2 temporary health)

Level 25: Asrai Focus (Reduces the cooldown of Trueshot Volley by 30%)

Trueshot Volley is great for eliminating threats like gutter runners and packmasters, so it’s nice to be able to use it regularly.

Weapons

Melee: Glaive

Ranged: Lonbow
