[Top 10] Overwatch Best Orisa Skins

Best multiplayer games, best character skins, first-person shooter, best games 2016

Do you love Overwatch skins? Check Orisa's out!

Since its launch in May of 2016, Overwatch has been a fan favorite among Blizzards titles, played by over 40 million people across the globe. As well as being a fresh face in the first-person shooter community, bringing another cool team-based title to rival old favorites, like TF2 and Overwatch, has brought a diverse cast of characters with unique abilities. This gives even the pickiest player a variety of people (or animals…or robots…) to choose from.

One character I really love to play is Orisa. Orisa is a cute robot centaur tank created by eleven-year-old Efi Oradale, made of scrap OR-15 robot parts. Orisa is a gentle soul with an upbeat attitude, providing protection for her allies in the forum of shielding, a long-range minigun type of weapon, and graviton surges to pull and slow enemies and make them easier to take out. Among these abilities, the best one of all is her special move, Supercharger. Supercharger allows your teammates’ damage to be boosted, and synchronized with special attacks by other players, which can really prove deadly to the enemy team.

Orisa is just one of many awesome characters that make up the roster. What can we expect from a game with so many awesome characters? Cosmetics! Orisa herself has quite a few amazing skins, and as someone who is a cosmetics connoisseur, I have collected all of hers that have been released so far. Here are my top 10 favorite skins for our little robo-bundle of joy!

10) Twilight (Rare Skin)

My favorite of the rare skins (which are honestly all a bunch of recolors of the original), this cool gradient skin will make you pleasantly purple during your daily enemy pummeling.

Yas Queen!

  • It makes you look regal with its purple to black ombre tones, detailed with gold accents, making you look like the fierce robot protector queen you are!
  • Gives Orisa a fresh new paint job while also keeping to her classic design, all a homage to her African roots.
  • It’s an easy enough to obtain skin that looks good without breaking your coin bank.

You can get this skin by grinding out loot boxes all year round, or by using coin you’ve accumulated overtime. The current coin price for the skin is 75 coins.

9) Camouflage (Epic)

Who doesn’t like a good camouflage skin? Not that it would do much to hide our robo-centaur friend!

Can't be seen with that camo on

  • The rhino accents on the shoulders and cloth flap look cool and not only correlate with Orisa’s African homeland but gives you that little push to charge right on in, like a rhino!
  • The geometric camouflage pattern looks cool and makes you look like you’re ready for duty.
  • The color coordination of this skin is amazing. From the different tones of grays to the red and yellow accents, this skin is a fun addition to your collection without adding too much extra to the original character design, perfect for those who like cool skins but are more into minimalistic styles.

You can get this classic soldier reminiscent skin by grinding out loot boxes all year round, or by using coin you’ve accumulated over time. The current coin price for the skin is 250 coins.

8) OR15 (Epic)

The original look for the robot that Orisa was built from, this skin gives a colder, less sentient feel to your Orisa.

Battle Cry!

  • An interesting showcase of Overwatch lore to add to your collection, the OR15 robots were the original protectors of Numbani, until they were all destroyed in an attack by Doomfist. The OR15 scrap parts were used to build our happy little hero!
  • Makes your Orisa look a bit more intimidating and less human.
  • The only downside to this skin is the emotes are dulled down due to the lack of facial expressions, but even then, the implied sentience is still there, leaving her a loveable favorite.

You can obtain the OR15 skin by earning and grinding loot boxes throughout the year or purchasing the skin for 250 coins.

7) Megasoma (Legendary)

Are you a fan of bugs? This cool beetle skin is sure to have you flying through matches to unlock it.

That's a tough-looking beetle!

  • The spiky details on this skin make Orisa look a bit more menacing than previously mentioned skins.
  • The color choices on this skin are appealing, really capturing that buggy look.
  • The development team really got the look and feel of an actual beetle carapace to a T, right on down to replacing some of Orisa’s face with the Rhinoceros beetle’s horn and replacing her usual clompers with beetle feet as well. Also, this skin seems to be a nod to the Camouflage skin, as it is based on the Rhinoceros beetle, as well as tied to Orisa’s homeland.

You can obtain this bugged out cosmetic by either grinding for loot boxes all year round, or paying the 1,000 in-game coins.

6) Carbon Fiber (Legendary)

A bit more futuristic in looks, this skin is a cool addition to your collection.

Ultra high-tech!

  • One thing that is awesome about this skin is how most of the connecting parts, save the legs, are just hovering close to the body in this neon green light, giving off those futuristic vibes.
  • I absolutely love the color combination and textures used on this skin. The dark grey and black carbon fiber textures paired with that super neon green really polish this look.
  • I really like how they have changed the overall design for this skin to be more angular and less round, also making Orisa look sleeker and more efficient.

Want to pick up this high-tech Orisa skin? Either grind the boxes and gain it that way or grind for coin to purchase it for 1,000 coins.

5) Null Sector (Legendary)

This skin was specifically created due to the King’s Row Uprising (aka the Archives Event), the Null Sector created robots like these from the OR14, a robot preceding Orisa’s parts from the OR15s.

Who wants to go against this tough robot?

  • The OR14 design is a lot like the OR15, however, gives a more menacing feel with more gun-like looking parts than some of its other counterparts. The only complaint I have, like with the previously mentioned OR15 skin, the facial emotes are missing due to the face being covered.
  • It’s a lot more robotic, less sentient, and just looks like a plain old war machine straight out of some sci-fi film.
  • The color combinations are easy on the eyes but vibrant; a subtle indication of how dangerous you are.

If you’re looking to grab up this awesome skin, you’ll have to wait for either Archives to come back around (usually sometime in spring) or the yearly Overwatch Anniversary Event (usually in May). You can grind out loot boxes and try your luck or pick it up if you have the 1,000 coins.

4) Sanye (Epic)

Created for the Lunar New Year Event, Sanye is a really interesting skin to have in your collection!

It's definitely intimidating! What great representation, as well!

  • This skin has some cool lore behind it! Based on the white lion used in the Lion Dances at the start of the Korean New Year, the Lion Dance is meant to ward off evil, and in this case? Intimidate your enemies!
  • This skin leaves Orisa adorned in gold, white and the colors of the Korean flag. It’s honestly some pretty rad representation.
  • I really love the movement of the floof on her costume and how it rustles when she walks, it’s so fluid and lovely to look at.

Want to be a ferocious lion and ward off enemies? You’ll have to either play during the Lunar New Year Event (usually around the end of January), or pick it up during the Overwatch Anniversary Event. Either way, you’ll have to grind her out or pay the 1,000 coins.

3) Immortal (Legendary)

A skin created for the Blizzworld release in 2017, this series of skins, including Orisa’s Immortal one, were a group of crossover skins added to vanilla Overwatch as a cool treat for Blizzard Entertainment fans.

Immortal AND regal

  • The Immortal skin is meant to mimic the Immortals in another popular Blizz game, Starcraft. The original Immortals are powerful, ranged assault robots for the Protoss Army.
  • Although not exactly the same as their Immortal counterparts, this skin is well done. I love the fusion of the two. I also like that they didn’t invert the torso like actual Immortals, keeping the look a homage without the kind of ugly structural look of the Immortal striders.
  • I really love the gold and blue combinations here, the glowing in the drum and on various bits on Orisa. The overall design gives off an alien vibe, as well as reminding me of Egyptian culture purely by coincidence, which is cool and also goes with Orisa being from Africa.

If you’d like to pick up this fabulous cross over skin, you can unlock it via grinding loot boxes anytime or using 1,000 coins.

2) Demon (Legendary)

The newest skin for Orisa, released during the 2019 Halloween event, this Orisa skin will leave your enemies intimidated and running to find an exorcist.

If this isn't intimidating then I don't know what is...

  • Reminiscent of another Blizz title, Diablo, this tanky and demonic looking Orisa has an amazing and threatening design.
  • I love all the little details! If you look closely, the shoulder skills are rhino skulls (a recurring, tanky theme for Orisa), and even cooler, there are blinking demonic eyes on her guns towards the elbow. Also, the fire and brimstone swelling behind her skeletal ribcage make her even more spooky.
  • I love the addition of the goat like legs with hooves, as well as all the sigils on her body- adding to that dramatic demon effect.

There are only two ways to get this ominous skin, either play during the Halloween Event and unlock it through loot box grinding or paying the 3,000 coins (no worries it will drop down next year if you didn’t grab it already this year), or waiting for the Overwatch Anniversary Event.

1) Forest Spirit (Legendary)

My favorite skin of all time for Orisa, the Forest Spirit skin, is amazing, giving a WoW like feel and really bringing out the dryad or centaur in our little four-legged buddy!

That's definitely a look for a guardian of the forest

  • Overall, the Forest Spirit skin is one of the most creative for not just Orisa, but also all over Overwatch. It gives her a gentler feel, which is honestly how Orisa was programmed. I feel like the most time was put into this skin and it really shows.
  • I love the flowy feel of all the leaf and mushroom parts that jiggle and sway as she walks, including her adorable little leafy tail.
  • I really like the textures of the wood, mossy accents as well as the glowing sigils. Also, I like how they did her feet, drum and hooves made of stone, really pulling together all the elements a forest goddess or guardian would have. In this skin, she really gives the overall feel that she is straight out of the woods, ready to guard her friends.

Sadly, in order to obtain this beauty, you’ll need to play during Overwatch’s Anniversary Event. Grind out loot boxes or pay the 3,000 coins and you can take this gorgeous specimen out to battle.

Orisa is an amazing and versatile tank that excels at defense but can also be used in attacks. She is great at helping defend and keep the enemy team reeling at choke points, and is a great hero to get acquainted with overall. If you haven’t tried her already, what are you waiting for? Especially after seeing all these amazing cosmetics that will amplify your Orisa playtime!
