The Neverwinter Nights series was released in 2002 and modeled after the 1991 AOL version. It is a part of Forgotten Realms of the Dungeons & Dragons series. It was different than previous D&D games due to its multiplayer component, though not every expansion supported it.

The last game of the series was Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate in 2009 and is unrelated to previous expansions. The D&D games that have been released are very popular amongst RPG gamers. They offer the player an escape to another realm where magic is real.

Due the popularity of these games, it’s no surprise that we want a sequel. While there are many RPGs out there, the magic and adventure that is brought to us through the D&D lore and campaigns just doesn’t compare.
