Shannon fell in love with video games at a young age, from watching her father playing the Legend of Zelda to finding her first game secret in Super Mario 3. In watching the creative worlds of gaming, Shannon found she had her own desire to create worlds as a writer. Shannon has received several writing medals and awards for her poetry and short stories. Her writing styles of choice include fantasy, scifi, horror, and dystopian future.
