The story starts back when Christopher's father introduced him 3D Chess in MS-DOS (back when Elamites were brewing beer) and he got captivated by it. Since then, gaming has become a great part of his live: for entertainment, learning or sharing.

But not only gaming a lot in the pc was one of his interests: developing skills was also part of his life and so he entered the Scouts, as well as training sports and language learning. He was able to become a person aware of his environment, both physical and empathically (and cooking, food's always important), developed a nice English level as well as basic French, Italian and Portuguese; and to connect with lots of people out there. During high school, writing skills were showed off in poetry and dumb essays at class, for which teachers encouraged him to study something related to it (and to his problem with authority, rebel spirit and will to help others). Tha'ts how he ended up studying Journalism.

Writing fantasy has always been easy for him: from simple D&D based stories, Vampire the Masquerade characters backgrounds, Lord of the Rings alternate stories, to simple narrations of the day by day life, political and social situations. He hasn't took part in writing contests or stuff but has been part of several literature groups like Decadent Literature Heroes (most of them workshippers of Kerouac and Bukowski, but he was more into Baudelaire and Rimbaud) which made several public presentations on museums and hell on earth bars. The experience of creating D&D campaigns led him to collaborate with Ghostfire Gaming in creating the Kingdom of Castillia.

Two years ago, he started managing a Tabletop/wargames store and was introduced to that addictive and marvelous world, playing Infinity, Warhammer Fantasy, Underworlds and AoS (no 40k at the moment), Catan, Dixit, The binding of Isaac: Four Souls, Magic The Gathering and way more interesting games. Tournaments and leagues of these games were often organized by him as well as serving as tutor for new players.

All genres have great titles and Chris has visited almost all of them. He starting with FPS and RTS, but nowadays he plays whatever game catches his attention, from Call of Duty, Sins of a Solar Empire, Crying Suns, Graveyard Keeper, to miniatures wargames like Infinity and Warhammer Fantasy. Any game is welcomed in his life as long as fun and friends are always there.

Gaming has always been part of his life, but now that years have passed, gaming has not only been focused on just playing for distraction, but for entertainment and sharing. He found the power of games to make people feel included in society, to help them develop social skills and, the best of all, to garantee a better gaming experience (more fun and more healthy competition). Noticing these benefits to older people has always been a challenge, but technology is so deep into society that persons are more opened to experiment and give it a try and have fun, specially when playing along their beloved ones and that's the most grateful price Chris has gotten in his job as writer/manager for the store he used to work.

Althought gaming is part of life, it's not the only thing gamers should aim for. Chris always encourage his friends and former customers to play with responsibility and awareness that there's a life that needs to be lived out there.
