Nate Somerville has been playing games and creating worlds for the last 30 years. Recently, his favorite project was publishing a propaganda newspaper for his gaming buddies, which was in the style of war correspondents from the turn of the century. From the text graphic games of the 80's, to creating fantasy worlds in DnD, to the battle for supremacy between werewolves and vampires, to the depths of space and the everlasting battle for survival in EVE Online, Nate's experience ranges across a broad spectrum from cave-geek to space-geek. Like any good geek, his mundane life is devoid of supermodels or private yachts. Graduating from Hillsdale College in 2003, Nate has run a company, been a delivery driver, and now earns his living as a professional writer. Mild mannered by day, his inner barbarian roams free at night – delving into deep dungeons or leading fleets of warships on daring raids into enemy territory, with no guarantee of survival – only the promise of glorious combat. Gamers have parallel lives in alternate universes, which are full of danger, adventure, victory or death. Telling those stories and creating the worlds in which they can exist are what drives Nate's passion for writing.
