James is an award-winning writer based in the UK with over 15 years of writing experience under his belt, ranging from fiction to poetry to journalism.

After a long period of writing and expert consultancy for music and business publications, James discovered that his true calling was to write about games - so he did! With this in mind he took to completing two degrees in Creative Writing, where he was given numerous Outstanding Creativity awards and a position as editor for the University of Derby's poetry magazine.

James loves to write about and play RPGs, Roguelikes and Indie games, as well as discuss video game soundtracks and in-depth narrative design analysis.
