Leana is a graduate of Indiana University, where she majored in English with a concentration in creative writing. She worked on campus as an editor for the University's creative arts journal for two years, and went on to work as an editor for a small publication house. She started playing video games back in 1998, when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was first released, and has been a gamer ever since. Her short poem, "Apollo 11" was published in IUE's "Tributaries" in 2017.
