I'm an expert in games that focus on characterization, simple-minded mechanics, or both, having played hundreds of hours of Enter the Gungeon, Dead Cells, among others. I love games that are able to suck a person into their story within seconds, and I love writing about why such things work. I love exploring the psychology behind video game & novel writing.
