Jillian is a budding journalist from Central Connecticut. She has been writing from an exceptionally young age and has years of creative writing experience stemming from personal endeavors. Although her writing expertise lies in creative writing, with a focus on stories and poetry, Jillian also has some experience in journalism, with her first ever article being published in the local newspaper in 2019. Prior to that, she received three local awards for her poetry. Jillian is currently enrolled in college and pursuing a degree in English. She is an expert, primarily, in character and narrative analysis especially in the context of hands reviews, and giving overall summaries of gameplay quality. Her favorite thing about writing about games include but are not limited to exploring the depth of the story, if there is one, and how it can reflect the human condition, or contribute to a person's philosophy of life. If not that, then her favorite thing about game writing is simply introducing new or inexperienced gamers to a world of fantastic worlds. A self described 'geek', Jillian's interests range from anime to cosplay, from video games to comic books. Her favorite games tend to be RPGs with a focus on story-telling, though she is no stranger to titles such as Team Fortress 2 and Borderlands 3.
