Caldwell Whyse has had a knack for writing since grade school, winning local writing competition and winning praises. As he entered high school, he began to spin the idea for a series that would fill his every waking moment for years to come. As he grew, Whyse had influences of gaming all around. His first gaming system was... his imagination! At the tender age of eight, Whyse ran his first Dungeons & Dragons character through a mystical Wizard's Garden. From then on, tabletop RPGs became a staple for all manner of nerdiness.
Fast forward to college years, Whyse became interested in journalism and pursued several courses on the subject. In his spare time, he played games such as Dragon Age: Origins, Final Fantasy XI, Cards Against Humanity. He became fascinated by the concepts of research and world-building, and considers these to be his expertise to this day.
