As a writer I prefer to draw attention to things that need it and I believe that indie games are one of those things.
With the industry increasingly reliant on big AAA developers who fill their games with loot boxes and addictive pay to win strategies we need more and more developers who are willing to stand behind their work and create games that are meant to be fulfilling and fun without ulterior motives.
Not to mention Indie games tend to be incredibly creative and good at horror. Horror being one of my favorite things in gaming, however most games are too reliant on jump scares and tension breaking gimmicks even with that advantage. It's just a winning strategy.
Having spent hundreds and thousands of hours searching and playing games I feel able to accurately bring them to your attention. In short I play bad games so you don't have to and I play good games so you can find them in the first place.
