As an expert in all areas “geek”, Julia takes pride in providing written information on a variety of subjects, including fantasy games, movies/TV shows, anime, and cosplay. As a child, she was an avid reader of sci/fi and fantasy books, devouring the entirety of the Lord of the Rings in the fourth grade (and was quite disappointed to learn there would never be a sequel). As she grew up, this fascination bled into different topics. Nowadays, she can often be found crowded around a table for a weekly DnD session, or terrorizing the local game cafe for their newest selection of “mafia”-esque games - One Night Werewolf and Avalon being crowd favorites.

Julia’s writing expertise began with her high school literary journal, where she would post short, creative works in a variety of genres. Since then, she has expanded her writing repertoire across a spectrum of academic articles, fantasy and prose, and self assigned passion projects.
