In some way, the crystal resembles stone, as it is also mined. That being said, the most simple way to get this resource is by using a stone/metal pick. The metal one is recommended, as the stone pick provides a very low drop chance. Where to find Crystal? It is located on the top of mountains, in the Snow Biomes, or in Caves that you’ll find throughout the map. Surviving in these places isn’t easy, so you should be prepared with appropriate armor and powerful weapons/ dinosaurs when you start this journey. As a last tip, if you are already an expert when it comes to Ark, creatures like Ankylosaurus, Dunkleosteus, and Mantis are the way to go. They will get you incredible amounts of Crystal in no time.
