Brawlhalla Crossovers
Brawlhalla has 48 “Crossovers” so choosing the top 10 was no easy task. Each one has a unique set of stats and some are more important than others but a well-balanced crossover is always better. Another thing I considered was which weapons the crossover uses since it is just as important while ranking.
Disclaimer: This list includes the crossovers that are great IN MY OPINION, so you have the right to disagree
10. Negan:
The Mighty Negan
Negan, the main character and former antagonist, from the Walking Dead is a crossover for Jaeyun. A balanced crossover with two great weapons; the sword and great sword. You cannot go wrong with this legend. His sword is quick, and the great sword has cool signatures that cover a lot of area. The side signature on Negan’s sword also has high force.
Why did I put Negan on this list?
- I’m a little biased because he’s one of my favorite crossovers in the game.
- His great sword’s signatures are insane. I mean look at the hitboxes, they are HUGE.
- The down signature on the great sword is like an anti-wall-hugger move.
- I love his down light, gravity cancel, neutral signature with the sword. It’s not true but kills early.

9. Macho Man:
The Invincible Macho Man
Macho Man is the crossover for Ulgrim and is based on the late WWF, WCW and TNA wrestler Randall Poffo. He is equipped with the lance and axe. Both weapons are generally slow, but Macho Man’s high speed makes up for it. His down signature on the lance has been improved in this patch and now is more usable. Cosolix has used it in a number of tournaments and according to him, Macho Man has one of the best stats in the game.
He is on number 9 because:
- Macho Man’s axe is really fast. I mained this legend to mid-platinum in a season so I’m confident.
- His lance’s neutral signature has great placement and can be used for an early knockout.
- The axe’s slide-charged down signature knocks out wall huggers 90% of the time.
- The side light, neutral signature can also be used with exhausted dodges.

8. Roman Reigns:
I bet he was your favourite as a kid
This crossover is based on the professional WWE wrestler Leati Anoa’i and replicates the moves of Teros. I admit his Brawlhalla version is not as cool as it looks here but Roman Reigns is literally the most feared crossover in the game. The axe and hammer are weapons with high damage, give them to a legend with 8 base attack and you get the creature of destruction, Roman Reigns. Personally, I get really nervous when a Roman Reigns comes up in ranked.
Why did I include Roman Reigns?
- His side signatures knock out low-defence legends on orange stocks.
- The downlight, neutral signature on hammer used to be true but now it’s one dodge frame.
- He can be countered with legends that have high speed. I use Asuri for that.
- The neutral signature on axe is insane as it knocks out almost effortlessly off stage.

7. Black Knight:
Who even played games like Shovel Knight
Black knight is the crossover based on a character front the famous 2D game Shovel Knight. He’s a replica of Orion so he is equipped with the lance and spear; both are long and good counter against close-range weapons. The reason people don’t like Black Knight is that many spammers use him. He is a great legend, nonetheless.
I like Black Knight because…. Oh, I mean, Black IKnight is number 7 because:
- The spear’s neutral signature hits twice and kills early on the edge.
- Side light, neutral signature with the lance is a good kill option.
- The move we all hate but love to use is the down signature on the spear. It has a lot of area and covers spot dodges.
- In short, Black Knight is quite fast, and his signatures are great. This makes him a well-balanced legend.

6. Tai Lung:
I bought his toy and used to sleep with it.... Damn, I should not have written it like that
Tai Lung is the main villain from my favourite movie; Kung Fu Panda. He’s the replica of Mordexx. This legend has won the most competitions in Brawlhalla esports using the scythe and gauntlets. He is a little difficult to master but Sandstorm is the undisputed guru of Tai Lung in Brawlhalla universe and has won many tournaments using this legend.
Tai Lung made it to the top 10 because:
- He could’ve made it to the top 5 but his scythe’s neutral signature was nerfed this patch.
- He has really good stats; 6 attack and 7 speed pack a really good combo guys.
- His signatures are fast, especially the down signature on both weapons that many players use for early knockouts.
- The scythe’s side signature has an insane amount of range and can be combined with strings off stage as well.

5. Storm Shadow:
Is it just me or is this Crossover super cool!?
Damn, who’s the artist behind this image? It’s so cool! The antagonist from the G.I Joe film series is a crossover for Koji. Using the sword and bow, Storm Shadow is my favorite crossover in the game. He gives me that Naruto-ninja kinda vibe. Storm Shadow has no punishable moves. What else do you expect with 8 dexterity? He has also won tournaments.
What makes Storm Shadow great?
- The side signature on the bow seems slow at first but you’ll literally walk right into it.
- The downlight, gravity cancel, neutral signature on his sword is a true combo.
- Storm Shadow is very hard to punish because of his dexterity.
- The weapon combination is great; both weapons build up damage.
- The sword is close range, and the bow has a longer range. You never know which type of player is gonna pop up so Storm Shadow is always prepared.

4. Akuma:
The devil Akuma
Akuma is the character from Street Fighter that many of us loved as children. Did you know that Akuma means ‘Demon’ in Japanese? Sporting the gauntlets and sword, Akuma is never a bad choice. He has one of the best stats in the entire game. Akuma is used for both 1s and 2s matches. His attack stance is probably the best one to use.
Why is he on the list?
- His sword’s side signature has 3 variations and the one used at the edge is the best one.
- He has true combos with signature moves like the downlight, gravity cancel then neutral signature.
- He is one of the fastest legends in the game and the rest of the stats are also great
- It is said that Akuma likes movies.

3. Ryu:
Ahhhhhh!! Nostalgia
Ryu is the main protagonist in the Street Fighter series. I bet he’s the first character you used in Street Fighter. He uses gauntlets and orb. Combine that with 8 damage and crazy signatures, you get the 3rd best crossover in the game.
He is in the top three because:
- The gauntlets’ neutral signature has a lot of force and is a great kill option.
- The orb’s neutral signature covers spot dodges.
- You can get back on stage by gravity cancel, down signature on gauntlets.
- The side signature on Petra got nerfed a bit but it’s still pretty good.

2. Dhalsim:
Seriously? Another entry from Street Fighter?
Dhalism, sounds like the Pakistani curry, called ‘Daal.’ Another entry from Street Fighter, Dhalsim is the yoga master with the ability to stretch his limbs and conjure fire. Replicating Rayman, this crossover has great stats and a lot players use him because of that. Dhalsim's axe is very fast, it has great signatures too. The gauntlets are always a good option and Dhalsim's stats make them all the more worthwhile.
Dhalsim is the second best crossover because:
- The down signature on both weapons are really good for edge guarding.
- The side signature on the axe covers the whole stage and good for countering dash dancing.
- The neutral signature on axe...... It's not that good but you jump right into it.

1. Xavier Woods:
The rightmost is Xavier Woods.... Just telling you in case you were raised in a Jungle
Why does everyone seem so okay with the fact that his animation looks so familiar to the real guy? Finally, ladies and gentlemen, on number 1 is the famous WWE wrestler, Xavier Woods. This guy is the crossover for Bodvar. Xavier Woods will always be a good pick. The signatures are great, the stats are great. There is nothing bad about him. The animations of his signatures are also very cool.
He's number one because:
- He's won tournaments.
- The down signature on the sword is great for edge guarding, it's fast and kills early.
- The side signatures on both weapons are good, the hammer's is better.
- The weapon combo is great, sword for building up damage and hammer for knocking out.
