Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Best Characters (All Characters Ranked Worst To Best)

I think we all need to know which units are the best to use in FFBE. However, everyone needs to know which ones are worth our time. So, let’s take a look to see who is reliable. We’re going from worst to best, just so we save the good parts for the last.

1. Balthier

Balthier was first introduced in the game as a 5 star unit that can be awakened to a NV. One of the main protagonists from Final Fantasy XII, Balthier is a sky pirate. He is a physical attacker.

With the introduction of more NVs, Balthier is not powerful anymore. His NV counterpart does more damage than his 5 star incarnation. Keep in mind, he does access to most elements for damage. But, his skills do not do high damage. His stats for a NV maxed out is not so great.

2. Dark Knight Leon

Leon is a 5 star unit from Final Fantasy II, that can be awakened as a NV. He is a dark knight, which deals dark physical damage. He can debuff enemies as well.

Let’s talk about why Leon isn’t great anymore to use.

3. Cloud

When Cloud was released as a 5 star unit, he was sought out by most fans. This was due to his TMR and STMR, which were good at that time. But with the release of every update of the game, these items are not worth it anymore. However, they could get an upgrade like most units with their TMRs and STMRs.

Cloud is not great anymore due to the introduction of NVs and more units with better stats and skills.

4. Infernal Fire Rain

This version of Rain can deal fire and earth physical damage, like most of his other incarnations. He starts out as a 5 star unit, but can be awakened as a NV. He has a few skills that can be useful in battle.

However, with more unit released, this version of Rain is terrible. The newer versions of Rain beat this unit.

5. Serah

Serah Farron was first released as a 5 star CG unit that can be awakened as a NV. She is a mage that deals light, wind, and earth damage. Hailing from Final Fantasy XIII-2, Serah also has a few abilities she can use in battle.

Unfortunately, Serah is not useful in battle for now. Unless she gets more upgrades, or another version of herself, which could be likely or not.

6. Lone Lion Squall

This Squall was released as a 5 star, just like his counterpart. But, can be awakened as a NV. He was one of the 5 star units that were upgraded to NV with the best updates ever.

Squall’s STMR could be upgraded to its maximum potential for a higher damage. He can be equipped with Laguna’s or Kiros & Ward’s VC for an ATK boost. Give him Laguna’s TMR, then you have his ATK maxed out for more damage.

7. Wylk

Wylk is one of the new CG NV units. He is still one of the best units to use in the game with the best skills. His STMR and VC greatly boosts his stats.

He is a great addition to your team. Wylk can deal earth and wind damage. His skill increases the LB gauge for himself.

8. Summoner Yuna

This version of Yuna is now more useful in battle than ever. Her STMR and VC give her stats a huge boost. Yuna does light, magical evoke damage. After all, she is a summoner.

Get the Nirvana from her other unit version as a TMR, for more damage. This version of Yuna has access to some white magic spells, should you need to buff your team with some elemental resistance or heal their HP.

9. Legendary Guardian Auron

Auron has proved to be the best unit in this game as a breaker, just like he did in Final Fantasy X. He deals wind damage and has a good chance of landing critical hits.

This Auron gets a huge stat boost from his STMR, VC, and from his 5 star unit counterpart’s STMR, Masamune. Make sure you have Masamune fully upgraded for its maximum potential.

10. New Guardian Tidus

This NV of this unit, Tidus was recently released not too long ago. He is mainly a water physical attacker.

This CG NV is a lot better than his 2nd CG 5 star unit version(can be awakened as a NV) in terms of stats.

His STMR is a must, since it boosts his ATK greatly, along with his VC. Make sure you give him the Caladbolg, with it being fully enhanced for higher damage.
