The Best Horror Games PewDiePie has Played.

15. One Late Night (PC)

One Late Night is a quick-play horror game. You play the role of a graphic designer who has to work late at the office. This indie horror game has exceptional graphics for a short play independent production. As you explore the office, you experience the paranormal as an evil spirit chases you. It’s one of those excellent jump scare games that doesn’t get too cheesy. Your only goal is to survive. With so many endings, this game is fun to play more than once.

14. Slender: The Arrival (Android, iOS, Wii U, Switch, Xbox 360/One, PS-3/4, PC)

Slender: The Arrival is a survival horror. To win this game, the player must try to escape the horror Slender has in store for you. Slender: The Arrival delivers a genuine fright as you explore the abandoned places where Slenderman likes to hunt. This game is the sequel to and remake of Slender: The Eight Pages. Follow the story of two childhood friends as they run from Slender. This game was even more fun than The Eight Pages.

13. Beyond: Two Souls (PS-3/4, PC)

Beyond: Two Souls isn’t exactly a horror game, but it has enough of creepy storytelling elements to make it here. Beyond: Two Souls graphics make for a scary feeling throughout the game. There is an air of unease in the atmosphere. Beyond: Two Souls doesn't have jump scares or monsters chasing you. It is a great game to play. The story is phenomenal and well put together, the game developer clearly put a lot of effort into this game's release.

12. Life is Strange (Android, iOS, Switch, Xbox 360/One, PS-3/4, PC)

Again, Life is Strange isn’t horror as in monsters and chases, but the story has elements that can give you that fright. The developers of this game did a great job making this a fun game for anyone to play. Play as Max, a photography student, who learns she can rewind time as she pleases. Your actions as the player will influence the narrative of the story. You will have a unique experience every time you play, which makes this game a treat to play time and time again.

11. The Walking Dead (Android, iOS, Switch, Xbox 360/One, PS-3/4/Vita, PC)

The Walking Dead is a 5 part episodic game where you must survive life after a zombie apocalypse has collapsed society. This game is extremely gory and violent. The grotesque detail is phenomenal if you enjoy gore as much as I do. I love the way the story is told: it really drives home how intense the characters' situation is.

10. The Crooked Man (PC)

The crooked man follows the story of a character named David as he moves into a new apartment. On your first day in the apartment, everything seems fine and then the game makers up the ante. You experience lots of strange events, strange noises in the dark and things turning on by themselves. A strange spirit is after you. You must escape the crooked man alive. This game has the jump scares in the best places.

9. Undertale (Switch, Xbox One, PS-4/ Vita, PC)

Undertale is a horror RPG. The player is a child who ends up underground and must explore this strange and mysterious realm. You will come upon monsters and must decide if they are friends or foes for yourself. Your choices determine your fate. As you make choices throughout the game, they will influence the story and progression of the plot. I love the ‘choose your own adventure’ style of the game. It makes me want to play again to see what could happen.

8. Until Dawn (PS-4)

Until Dawn is a dramatic horror that plays as an interactive horror film. As the player, you follow the story of the Washington siblings, Hannah and Josh, as they both find themselves at the mercy of the crazed serial killer who lurks deep in the forest. Until Dawn takes inspiration from the greatest horror films of all time, because of this it is incredibly exhilarating to play.

7. Outlast (Switch, Xbox One, PS-4, PC)

Outlast is a survival horror in which you must escape. You play the role of a freelance private detective investigating the Mount Massive asylum. As you wander the halls of the eerie asylum, you find clues and experience the paranormal. This game is a thrill physically and psychologically. This game is the embodiment of terror.

6. Lucius (PC)

This survival horror game is unique in this genre, as instead of running from monsters, you’re running from the good guys. Playing as the 6-year-old child to Lucifer, your goal is to get away with murder. You cannot leave a trace of evidence or you will be caught. Lucius is grotesque to the core. The story and graphics are gruesome. This game will give anyone goosebumps and make even the bravest players cringe. I love a game that feels like a rollercoaster of different frights.

5. Half-Life 2 (Android, Xbox/Xbox 360, PS-2/3, PC)

Half Life 2 is a first-person shooter game full of thrill. The player has to survive after an Alien race has taken over the world. This game is really immersive and the attention to detail is phenomenal. There is so much action packed into this game and I think everyone needs to play it. I love the storytelling and the graphics during scenes weren’t too gruesome. Terrifying, but not gruesome, a perfect game for casual play and a thrill.

4. Resident Evil 8: Village (Xbox One, PS-4/5, PC)

Resident Evil Village is a survival horror just like the previous 7. The game plays well as you follow Ethan Winters after the murder of his wife and the kidnap of his daughter, Rosemary. You, playing Ethan, must get to the village where they have taken Rosemary and rescue her. You must survive to save your daughter. This aspect of the story makes it even more thrilling as you get so attached to the characters you just have to save everyone. Every Resident Evil installment is better than the last and this one follows suit.

3. The Last of Us 2 (PS-4)

The Last of Us 2 is an action-adventure game featuring powerful elements of horror as cannibalistic creatures pursue you. Five years after the events of the first installment, the story takes place. The Last of us centres around the story of 2 characters, Abby and Ellie, as they navigate life in a post-apocalyptic world. This game is frightening and gives you a tingly feeling of raw fear. The Last of Us is a great game, and it was brilliantly out together.

2. Alice: The Madness Returns (Xbox 360, PS-3, PC)

Alice: The Madness Returns is a psychological horror. After suffering the traumatic loss of her family, Alice goes to a facility for treatment. Once she leaves treatment, she goes to an orphanage, where she eventually ends up back in madness as she travels to wonderland again and must defend herself from the evil forces who have taken over. Alice: Return to madness is an excellent take on the story we all love and it adds a grown-up perspective to the classic story of Alice in Wonderland.

1. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (Switch, Xbox One, PS-4, PC)

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, is a survival horror that is an indirect sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs takes place in the same world as The Dark Descent, but features a whole new cast of characters. The player must use diary entries and interact with objects to solve puzzles to figure out your characters' lost memories. This game is so fun to play and really spooky. It's similar enough to The Dark Descent, but the gameplay is a little bit different. A Machine for Pigs is an upgrade from The Dark Descent for sure. However, both are excellent standalone games.
