As the game continues to release content, it's important to level up quickly to acess the endgame content.
5. Vendors
Leveling up normally is easy. You acquire XP by beating enemies and completing missions. However, you must also level up your Power Level if you want to truly stay ahead of the game. Level 50 isn’t going to mean anything if you just focus on beating enemies until they drop XP.
One of the fastest ways you can level up your Power Level, especially early in the game, is by purchasing through vendors. There are 2 types of vendors in the game, the regular vendors and the Faction Vendors. The regular vendors will offer you items that refresh every hour, giving you a different selection each time.
The Faction Vendors refreshes their inventory daily, but they offer rare gear and are the only vendors to sell ISO’s.
How it works
- Go to a vendor
- Buy the highest gear for your current character
- Equip new gear
- Move to the next outpost and repeat the process
4. Vaults
Early in-game, you’ll unlock missions called Vaults. Now, these bad boys are part of the Daily Challenges, but they are also found in the War Table. Vaults are essentially the second quickest way to level up your Power Level fast early in-game.
Doing Vaults later after reaching Power Level 150 (or 175), you can earn Exotic gear at a small percent chance. The chance is bigger if you do the Vault mission that’s part of the Daily Challenge.
How it works
- Go to War Table
- Select any Vault mission
- Complete mission to earn rewards
3. Day of the Remains
Day of the Remains is a mission that’s small and easily repeatable in 20 minutes or less. It’s much shorter compared to other missions, even Drop Zones. The trick in doing Day of the Remains is that you open all the chests in the map and finish the mission, getting the rewards for completing Day of the Remains as well.
However, other players would simply restart the mission in order to respawn the chests. The spawn would randomize, however, but they are easily found by using the Tactical Awareness button.
How it works
Two ways to utilize this method:
- Finish the mission once all chests have been opened
Or
- Reload from checkpoint to restart the mission, respawning most of the chests
2. Upgrade Gear
At the end of the game’s campaign, you should have a lot of resources now. The game offers a lot, and they make sure you use them each time. While upgrading gear isn’t the most resource friendly method, it is still the fastest for two reasons.
The first reason is that once you upgrade certain gears, higher level gear can be purchased from the vendors.
The second reason being that once you upgrade your gear, you can then proceed to play missions like Threat Sectors or Drop Zones and quickly complete them. Once completed, you will then receive higher gear rewards.
Upgrading gear is the stepping stone to receiving more higher level gear for your character, but it is advisable to only start upgrading gears once you reach the level 100 mark, as upgrading gear below 100 is useless.
How it works
- Upgrade desired gear
- Play any mission and complete it
- Receive new higher level gear and swap out the lower level gear
1. Events
Thanks to the recent 2.4 patch, Marvel’s Avengers’ Event rewards have received a complete overhaul. Now, you can earn gear that can level up your Power Level up to 175. Previously, this is only achievable by playing the OLT or the Raid. Thanks to this update, you can now earn higher level gear at a faster rate without relying on difficult missions like the OLT or the Raid.
How it works
- Complete Event mission chains to receive rewards
- Some mission chains can be finished quickly if you speed through it
