Bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker went from a High School Outcast to one of America’s most iconic Superheroes. Fueled by the death of his Uncle Ben, Spider-Man would swing valiantly through the sky, scale the tallest building, and utilize his Spidey Sense to seek out and stop crime. From teen nerd to an icon, Spider-Man is a symbol for everyone.

The Predator Overview
The Predator is one of the most dangerous creatures throughout movie history. Brought to life in 1987’s hit movie featuring The Terminator. He quickly became as popular as he was deadly. His deadly wrist blades are utilized to eviscerate any prey. He also has a spinning blade that he can throw at miraculous speeds and a shoulder canon that he uses to evaporate his enemies. He can also use an invisibility cloak and his heat vision.

How the Battle Would Go Down
Now, here’s an interesting fight. Everyone’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man versus a killer alien from another planet whose intention is to decimate everything. This could either turn out very bloody for the Web-Slinger…or it could be a walk through Central Park. My vote is that it would be a walk in the park for Spider-Man. Let’s find out why.
Spider-Man has a tremendous Rogue’s Gallery, meaning he’s taken on some of the strongest villains around. He’s handled everyone from Green Goblin to Rhino, with his main adversary being Venom, who he’s beaten on numerous occasions. He’s also taken on a fair amount of heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, The Freaking Hulk, The Fantastic Four, and The X-Men. He didn’t outright beat all of them but he didn’t go down like a chump. My point is, is that Spider-Man has gone up against the best and he’s either beaten them or came pretty damn close. He can lift a tremendous amount in terms of weight and his Spidey-Sense is always there for him to fall back on. Spider-Man’s also very smart, and he generally uses his intelligence and wits to evade and conquer his opponent's whether they be hero or villain.
The Web-Head at his finest
The Predator is a cold-blooded killer, as we’ve seen in one classic film and three not so great films. He has an impressive arsenal of weapons and technology that can decimate any man, ranging from dual blades to a shoulder canon. He can turn invisible and use his heat-seeking ability to track and get the drop on his prey before they realize what hit them. If this creepy alien is in fear that he’s going to lose,he can take the relatively cheap way out and self-detonate…which would kill just about everyone in a state like region.
The Self-Detonation is easily Spider-Man’s greatest threat, but that’s about it. A good way for him to neutralize this threat is to somehow remove it from The Predator’s wrist, then swing it somewhere where he can’t get to it or incapacitate it with his webs. With this massive threat disposed of, all Spider-Man has to do is rely on his increased strength and Spidey-Sense to get the best of The Predator. Spider-Man is far faster and stronger than this foe, and those two attributes are paramount in terms of dispatching this alien threat. That’s not to say that The Predator is a slouch, he’d fight for as long as he can and give it his all. It’s just that Spider-Man has taken on opponents that were much stronger than The Predator.
The Predator with his trusty shoulder cannon
The only way I can see The Predator taking down The Web-Slinger is if he somehow got the drop on him without Spider-Man knowing it. That would mean through his invisibility and utilizing his heat-seeking ability. But the odds of Spider-Man’s Spidey-Sense outright failing him is pretty low. The Predator would get a few lucky hits in here and there but not enough to take down Spider-Man due to his increased durability. In the end, Predator just doesn’t have the weapons or tech to deal with a high priority superhero.
Don’t get me wrong, this would probably be a great fight. We’ve seen Predator take on several superheroes and each situation was entertaining. The Predator is a very imposing force, but you got to remember that Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) defeated him and he was only human.
And the Winner is…
This is an easy win for Spider-Man, he’s taken on more deadly foes and heroes. The Predator would put up a good fight and this would be a great battle, but this one goes to The Web-Slinger.
