Post-apocalypse with a twist, The Long Dark is set in Canada’s northern territories and steps away from the heated action of zombies and the like in favor of a quieter but more powerful opponent: nature.  Players live in a period after a geomagnetic disaster destabilizes and crumbles civilization, and survival involves fighting hunger, animals, and the deadly forces of the elements.

Updates are numerous in The Long Dark and are released regularly, offering new locations to explore, resources to harvest, and dangers to face.
