Flores-Barrios
Eleazar's interest in video games began with Duck Hunt on the NES and has grown immensely through the years. He loves fantastic and rich stories such as those of Devil May Cry and Kingdom Hearts, but his competitive nature always keeps him attached to franchises and games such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Rocket League, where his skills are tested against his peers. Having grown up with Saturday morning programs, Eleazar grew fond of Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh! This eventually led to a deep interest in anime, as evidenced by his university Capstone project on the cultural similarities of American and Japanese fans of shounen.
He recently served as the senior editor for the nationally awarded Audeamus journal. Eleazar graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of California, Riverside, where he was awarded the Jenkin Outstanding Paper Award for his research on immigrants and refugees.
As an over thinker you can bet Eleazar will pay close attention to the lore of the games and animes he watches, always looking between the lines and caring just a little too much about minor details--but it's thanks to this that he can understand the Kingdom Hearts universe without getting a headache.
