There's no way you don't have the units for a good team in this category.
It’s time to tackle one of the main categories in the game. Today we’re taking a stab at the Majin Buu Saga category, which Akatsuki has really been milking this year for content and characters. Fortunately, for you this means plenty of powerful units from summon banners as well as free-to-play (F2P) ones.
One thing before beginning: there are just so many amazing units that it was really hard to narrow it down, so just because you don’t see one you have here, doesn’t mean it’s bad at all--take the Gobros for example, they’re pretty strong on their own. Keep in mind I made these thinking of short to mid-length events since that’s most of the content in the game (sorry Ultimate-stacking-Gohan fans). Now, let’s get to cooking and go through the 5 best Majin Buu Saga teams in DBZ Dokkan Battle GLB according to the most reliable source (not really): myself!
5. Majin BUUdget Saga
Short on stones but still want a mighty category team? Well I have just the thing for you! To be honest, it was a hard choice because all of the units that came out recently just go so well together with a synergy that is hard to beat--I’m talking about Goku (Angel), Gohan, and Goten. This team, however, still manages to keep good synergy while giving you more power without relying on stuff like stuns and seals too much, making it possible to use it in Dokkan challenge events. Oh, and if you’re wondering why LR Hercule isn’t here, well it’s because of all the Zeni he costs to obtain AND to Extreme Z-Awaken (EZA)--it’s just too difficult even for highly ranked players.
- For one, this team is going to be extremely well-supported. Hercule, Gohan, and the Great Saiyaman pair all provide ki and defense and/or attack boosts. This can help make up for the lack of a stronger leader and shared links.
- Then we have attack power. Having Hercule and Goku in the same rotation will enable you to have a greater Super Attack (SA) multiplier after Goku loses his transformation to wipe the floor with your enemy. Moreover, Majin Vegeta and SSJ2 Goku build up to have both amazing defense and offense, making them stars in their own right.
- The team’s defense is no joke either. Hercule has a good damage reduction and can guard against all attacks when Majin Buu tags in. The Great Saiyaman pair also gives a mighty 50% defense boost to the already tanky units in your main rotations.
- Even though their toolkit is smaller, you still have some options to weaken your opponent such as attack debuff, SA sealing, and defense debuff to some opponents.

4. Majin Heroes?
- Like I said, you get the best of both worlds here. With LR Buu and both LR Vegitos from this saga each in a main rotation, your defense in offense will both be amazing.
- This team has great healing potential. With 3 characters who heal upon transforming and LR Buutenks’ passive healing, your HP will be safe.
- Although the main rotations have great synergy, the floaters are tricky to work around because they have to link with both Super and Extreme class allies. This is why I added 2 supports who bridge the gap between classes.
- This team will perform greatly in both long and short events, but the longer the match, the better they can get.

3. Rated G
Because there are kids in it, GET IT?! Don’t worry, this team is way better than my jokes so don’t lose hope. With the brand new Gotenks and the awakenings to SSJ Trunks and Goten, I just had to make sure the kids got some playtime. I also set up this team so that you could throw in other powerful pairs to replace one of the main rotations because most of us will be missing a unit or 2. An example would be the F2P Hercule-SSJ3 Goku combo or the Dokkanfest SSJ2 Goku-SSJ2 Vegeta pair.
- The Goten-Trunks pairing is a plus completely on its own. They are each other’s ideal partner and boost each other up to be hard-hitters and ridiculously tanky. Their damage reduction is great because it is not hindered by enemy debuffs and scales wonderfully as the opponents become tougher--meaning the harder the punch, the greater the reduction.
- On your other rotation you have 2 Gotenks, both of who are perfectly self reliant for ki and stats, but it doesn’t hurt that they have a good amount of links in common.
- You also have 2 powerful sealers and a great new stunner to keep your opponent from dealing too much damage.
- Combine all this with the fact that all units have decent to perfect synergy with each other and you wind up with a team that is seemingly unbeatable all around.

2. Majin Buu Majin Buu Saga Team
I love long names...Anyways, here we have a team built purely around villains and, let me tell you, it absolutely kicks ass. The only issue is that the leader skill tops off at 120% but they’re all plenty strong enough to get you through some of the toughest events in the game like SBRThere are currently some amazing options for villains, it was harder to choose than I initially thought.
- A huge plus is always having a stunner on rotation, with Buu-Piccolo being your best one. Not only that but the new TEQ Buu can seal SAs when transformed. Couple all of this with Transforming Buu’s attack debuff and you will be taking very little damage, if any, per turn.
- Like Majin Buu in the anime, this team has some of the best healing you can get out of any team. Between their links and passive skills, you will be receiving some serious healing every. Single. Turn.
- I also set up this team so that you would always have a support at play that will both boost your attack and defense as well as ki if that unit is Dabura.
- The fact that they are all of the same class and share more than one category in common results in plenty of shared links, which will ensure your units are all at their best.
- Lastly, this team kicks some serious butt all around because of units like the TEQ Majin buu and definitely LR Buu. It takes some time, but the team builds up to have attack and defense stats that will make you unbeatable.

1. Vegito Saga
- First let’s look at its ability to save you from bad situations. With what are essentially 3 Senzu beans in the team, you can heal your way out of despair. Best part is that the new Vegito’s fusion is an active skill, so you choose when to use it. And there’s also AGL Vegito who can foresee enemy SAs at low HP so you can organize your team carefully.
- Defensively, all of the units here can take care of themselves thanks to their powerful boosts to themselves. Not to mention Super Vegito’s mighty damage reduction against normal attacks. But if you rather not risk it, there are also two units that can prevent damage through sealing or stunning.
- Offensively, they all pack a serious punch, particularly when all the Vegitos are at play because not only are they strong, but they can counter with tremendous strength, making short work of your enemies. And let’s not forget Vegeta who can reach amazing heights once his active skill is at play and he’s fully powered up.
- Though Vegeta may seem a bit odd because of the restrictions in his passive, this team allows him to meet them so that he can shine (and maybe even outshine).
- While the synergy is not ideal, every unit in here is self-sufficient and will rarely struggle for ki. Moreover, I threw in 2 powerful supports to help them kick butt even harder and make up for greater synergy.

I covered quite a bit of ground on every team, but there is more to each unit that I didn’t get to cover, so if they sound good as they are, wait until you find out what else they can do. Until next time!
