[Top 5] Dokkan Battle Best Battle of Wits Teams

Dokkan Battle Best Battle of Wits Teams
How dare they bring him out after I spent all my stones on the 5th anniversary banners!

No, this category is not about people who make great jokes at the best of times--for the most part anyways.

One of the most recent additions to the game and a category filled with a rather interesting set of units. This time we’re gonna tackle things a little differently and get creative because it is such a new and niche category. Brace for an odd list for an odd category. Now, let’s get down to business with the Top 5 Battle of Wits category teams currently available in DBZ Dokkan Battle global.

5. Free of Wits

Let’s kick things off with a F2P team for Battle of Wits (or BoW for short). While there are many F2P options in this category, it’s hard to put one together that is also entirely a team for another category AND that links together well.

  • This team is surprisingly versatile thanks to their varied toolkits. You have both stunners and decent healers here to help you.
  • Thanks to Krillin and Trunks, you also got the ability to fight off multiple enemies thanks to Krillin’s SA and his self-boosts. Trunks also powers himself greatly when facing more than 1 opponent.
  • Aside from healing, Candy Vegito’s dodging and Vegito Blue’s incredible strength give your team a solid defense to keep yourself alive.
  • This team is also set up in such a way that they all at least share 1 ki link so as to make it easier to use their SAs.

Details

Leader: All or nothing SSGSS Vegito

Friend: Fused Hope Goku & Vegeta (Angel)

The Tiniest Top-Notch Hero Vegito (Candy)

Alternate Ending SSJ Trunks (Future)

Good versus Evil Android #21 (Transformed, Good)

Raging Killer Move Krillin

[Extreme Z-Awakened] Battle as a Namekian Piccolo

Main Rotation: Vegito Blue---LR Goku & Vegeta; Krillin---Piccolo.

Floaters: Trunks, Android #21, and Candy Vegito

4. Crowd Control

Inspired by the F2P team, I decided to make a team specifically meant to defeat multiple opponents as quickly as possible. Although powerful, bringing an item or 2 (or more) may be a good idea to make sure things don’t go sideways since the emphasis is on attack here. Feel free to swap out your friend for an AoE unit to take this team to the World Tournament.

  • While the rather particular linksets of the AoE units  affect the team’s synergy, their  passives will do all of the work to keep them at their fullest, so synergy will not be an issue here.
  • With an orb changer and MVP #17’s passive, this team will not be short for ki, even when you have terrible luck with how the orbs come out.
  • Having 3 AoE units means you will hit all of your opponents at once, which results in a faster battle. Perfect for grinding stones on story mode or even SBR (just be sure to bring those items I mentioned).
  • While you may not have noticed, both Krillin and Piccolo are stunners, which acts as an added bonus to save your HP.

3. Totally Not Dragon Ball Heroes

It’s a niche category, so why not go nuts with some niche units? This team makes use of those DBH villains sitting in your box and puts them in the spotlight. With a variety of abilities and powerful units, this team is sure to do well. The only downside is the leader skill, but if you’d like to take it to a very difficult event you can put a stronger leader and take out the TEQ unit.

  • With 4 supports in it, this team will never be short on ki and will always have good attack and defense.
  • There are also 2 killer healers in your main rotations that will help get you out of sticky situations.
  • Most of this team has the ability to debuff your opponents which will give you the upper-hand in combat.
  • The majority  these units are strong enough in their own right, but Super Fu will just crush your competition thanks to his strength being supported by his teammates.

2. Future of Wits

Remember how I told you I’d get creative with team-building? Well, now I’m asking you to use your imagination to think of this team as a Super class BoW instead of Future Saga team--it’ll be our little secret ;). If there’s something this team does well, it’s annihilating opponents while keeping your HP safe.

  • With one of the best stunners in the game (Mai), this team can avoid damage rather easily while letting you take pot shots at your enemies. Moreover, if she fails there’s always the chance for LR Trunks & Mai to stun.
  • AGL Trunks & Mai are in themselves a huge plus thanks to their amazing attack potential, aided by the inclusion of SSGSS Vegito to fulfill part of their passive. And that’s not mentioning their ridiculously strong active skill that I would argue rivals those of units like LR SSJ4 Goku or LR Gogeta.
  • Defensively, they’re no slouches either because of TEQ Trunks’ stacking and LR Trunks & Mai’s dodging, as well as SSJ Trunks support passive.
  • Lastly, the synergy in this team will both keep your team well fed on ki and on top shape.

1. Battle of Yosha

FYI: it was a tough decision choosing between this team and #2 just because they are both too good at what they do, but Vegito’s team came in first place ultimately because of details like how INT Mai just can’t tank as consistently as any Vegito when stuns aren’t allowed. This team has just too many pluses going for it and I’m sure that even a beginner can tell how good it really is simply by looking at it. Also, this may be the first team to actually put the leader of this category front and center (it only took the whole list, right?).

  • First off, this team has 3 life savers. The 3 LR duos can restore your health and the best part is that, since STR Vegito’s fusion is an active skill, you can pretty much ration out their fusions as if they were Senzu bean items.
  • The damage potential of this team is insane! Between all the counters and additional attacks on top of the awesome stats of every single Vegito, you will plow right through your enemies in a jiffy. Oh, and don’t forget TEQ Vegito’s mighty active skill.
  • The team’s defense is also a force to be reckoned with. SA’s against the EZA’d Vegitos aside, these units can all do some serious tanking, but because enemies still SA, Android #17 is in this team to make things better with his defense boost to allies. Moreover, Super Vegito’s ability to foresee enemy SAs can also help you plan your defense better.
  • This team’s synergy is the best of all in this whole list. Your characters will never fall short of ki and will always be at their best thanks to the many links they share in common.

Well, I hope you all liked this article and found it useful. There are plenty of other units and combinations I didn’t show, so don’t be afraid to come up with your very own. If you want a hint, I’d take a look at the Androids in this category.
