  • Druids - Druids depend on Wisdom for their spellcasting, so gifting your Druid this ring will make them even more naturally Insightful.
  • Rangers - Wisdom is also an important stat for Rangers, so with this ring, you can let your Ranger take the lead when trying to suss out shady characters.

How to get the Ring of Truthfulness:

Defeat the Mind Flayer hiding in the basement of the Abandoned Windmill in Rivington. You can loot this ring off their body.

14. The Whispering Promise (Act 1)

The Whispering Promise ring (pictured) is a ring made for healers.

When you heal a creature while wearing the Whispering Promise ring, you also receive a 1d4 bonus to Attack Rolls and Saving Throws.

The Whispering Promise is great for:

  • Clerics - Most often labeled as the ‘healer’ of the party, Clerics will get the most use out of this ring.
  • Paladins - Paladins are pretty much just Clerics, but sturdier. Give your Paladin this ring to help them do what they value most: helping their weak pals.
  • Druids - Druids are excellent at moving around the battlefield and also possess healing abilities. Your Druid will be able to spread around the bonuses in combat much more easily with this ring.

How to get the Whispering Promise:

You can purchase this ring from Roah Moonglow or Grat the Trader from the Goblin Camp, or Brem in the Zhentarim Hideout.

13. Shifting Corpus Ring (Act 2)

The Shifting Corpus Ring (pictured) makes you much sneakier.

The Shifting Corpus Ring grants you two Level-2 Illusion spells: Invisibility and Blur.

The Shifting Corpus Ring is great for:

  • Rogues - This ring can help your Rogue in and out of combat. Invisibility is amazing for sneaking around and breaking into chests or locked doors. Blur will help them get hit less in combat.
  • Fighters - The Shifting Corpus Ring? 70 GP. Being able to have your Fighter sneak in and start a Surprise round of combat using Invisibility? Priceless.
  • Monks - Monks are often fighting within melee range. The Blur spell will give them a bit more of an edge in combat, as they will be harder to hit.

How to get the Shifting Corpus Ring:

You can loot this ring from Flaming Fist Marcus, whom you will first encounter at the Last Light Inn.

12. Caustic Band (Act 1)

The Caustic Band is great for:

  • Rangers - A plus 2 damage to ranged attacks let's them demolish enemies even faster.
  • Barbarians - Barbarians are balanced to be more useful in combat than out of it. Give your Barbarian this ring to help them do what they do best.
  • Paladins - If you are using your Paladin as more of a tank than a healer, giving them this ring will allow them to wipe out their enemies even faster in combat.

How to get the Caustic Band:

11. Smuggler's Ring (Act 1)

The Smuggler’s Ring grants you a +2 to Stealth and to Sleight of Hand, but a -1 to your overall Charisma score.

The Smuggler’s Ring is great for:

  • Rogues - There’s a reason that most Rogues are professional thieves. Give your Rogue this ring and let them loose on anyone whose pocket needs picking.

How to get the Smuggler’s Ring:

  • Monks - Your Monk will enjoy this ring when they aren’t forced to Dash between enemies to dish out their Flurry of Blows.

How to get Crusher’s Ring:

You can loot Crusher’s Ring from a goblin named Crusher, Novice of the Absolute, in the Goblin Camp.

9. True Love's Embrace + True Love's Caress (Act 2)

The True Love’s Embrace/Caress rings (pictured) are only activated when you have them both and equip them to two separate members of your party.

Once you equip both rings to two separate members of your party, the True Love’s Caress ring allows you to receive Warding Bond from whoever is wearing the True Love’s Embrace ring.

The True Love’s Embrace/Caress rings are great for:

  • Barbarians/Wizards
  • Fighters/Sorcerers
  • Paladins/Warlocks
  • All for pretty much the same reason - Warding Bond creates a connection between you and the creature wearing the matching ring. While the target is within 60 feet of you, it gains a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws, and it has resistance to all damage. However, each time they take damage, you take the same amount of damage. So you must pair up a tougher party member with one that has fewer hit points.

How to get True Love’s Embrace/Caress rings:

You can find the True Love’s Caress ring by looting a skeleton at Rethwin Town graveyard situated between the House of Healing and the Masons’ Guild in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. (Coordinates: X:-151, Y:43)

  • Wizards - Wizards are known for being squishy. This ring will give your Wizard a fighting chance of not going down every single combat.
  • Sorcerers - Sorcerers only receive 1d6 Hit Points at each level-up. Give your Sorcerer this ring to help them hold their own without needing to stay within Cure Wounds distance of your healer.

  • Rogues - Give this ring to your Rogue to help them weave their way around the battlefield with ease.
  • Clerics - Whether you’re using Healing Word and Spirit Guardians in melee range or moving further away to cast Guiding Bolt, your Cleric will make great use of this ring in combat.

4. Ring of Evasion (Act 1)

The Ring of Evasion (pictured) givs you the quickness of a hummingbird.

The Ring of Evasion grants you ‘Dextrous Evasion.’ This gives you the opportunity when you fail a Dexterity Saving Throw to use your reaction to succeed instead.

The Ring of Evasion is great for:

  • Clerics - Give this ring to your party’s healer to give them the best ability to move around the battlefield unhindered.
  • Rogues - Rogues rely on their Dexterity already, so giving your Rogue this ring will make them almost invulnerable to Dexterity-based attacks.
  • Warlocks - Warlocks aren’t known for being the most Dextrous. Give your Warlock this ring to give them a better chance of maintaining their turn during combat.

How to get the Ring of Evasion:

You must use Gale as your origin character to receive this ring. You are awarded it by your pet cat after your first long rest.

3. Risky Ring (Act 2)

The Risky Ring (pictured) is a magic ring perfect for a risk-taker.

The Risky Ring grants you Advantage on Attack Rolls, but you will also receive Disadvantage on Saving Throws.

The Risky Ring is great for:

  • Barbarians - Barbarians are the toughest class and can, in general, take the most damage. Giving Barbarians automatic Advantage on Attack Rolls also prevents them from having to Recklessly Attack as much.
  • Rogues - Rogues can add Sneak Attack damage to any Attack Roll that they have Advantage on. Give your Rogue this ring to stack their Sneak Attack damage.
  • Paladins - Paladins have bonuses to Saving Throws, so giving them this ring will make it a little less risky to use.

How to get the Risky Ring:

You can buy the Risky Ring from Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers in the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

2. Ring of Protection (Act 1)

The Ring of Protection gives you +1 to your Armour Class as well as +1 to your Saving Throws.

The Ring of Protection is great for:

  • Warlocks - Warlocks have precious few spell slots. Give them this ring to help them be harder to hit, as well as more easily resist negative conditions.
  • Wizards - Wizards rarely have a good AC. This ring will give them a fighting chance to not be hit every single turn.
  • Sorcerers - This ring will help your Sorcerer maintain Concentration since enemies will have a harder time hitting them.
