You can be a veteran in Ark, have all the engrams and amazing tames. Despite all that, you’ll still lose a dinosaur at some point. It’s an experience that all players seem to have to get through. The game creates this problem, but luckily, the game is also the one that can fix it. There are multiple methods available out there. The preferred one seems to be, however, crafting a transponder tracker and placing its nodes on the tamed dinosaurs. The device will display a green message with the distance of the attached target.
How it works:
- Craft a transponder tracker
- Attach a transponder node to your dinosaur. Get close to the target and throw it in order to attach it
- Press right-click to enable the device
