Increasing a dinosaur’s max level can be done with a little bit of effort. Increasing a player’s max level, that’s a much bigger challenge. You should write a code that’s pages long. And if you are a code enthusiast, that’s a viable option. If you are not, then simply click on the youtube link I inserted above. In its description, you’ll find a google doc with the necessary code already written. Sounds good? Even if you can get the code, you still have to access multiple files and insert them in the right place. It’s not easy work, but here are some steps to follow. 

How it works: 

  • Write the code/ take from the google doc I mentioned. If you want to write the code, it should look like this: “ LevelExperienceRampOverrides= “ and on the next line “(ExperiencePointsForLevel[Level]=<Experience>”.  Replace <Experience> with a number of your choice to level up faster and create as many levels as you wish. 
  • Open the game and then go to my computer, program files. Open the Steam folder, then Steamapps. Click on “common” and then on the Ark folder. 
  • Open the ShooterGame folder
  • Click on “Saved”, then “Configuration” and finally open “WindowsNoEditor” 
  • Access the GameUserSetting.ini file. If your game is not on, the file will not appear
  • A notepad document will open 
  • Insert the code at the bottom of the notepad and save
