Taming a Phoenix is an amazing way of getting creative with farming Silica Pearls, especially for the Late-Game. This creature is known for being a living campfire, an excellent combatant, and even an efficient gatherer, harvesting great amounts of resources with its peck and claw attacks. What you might not know about the Phoenix is his strange ability to produce Silica Pearls. Instead of dropping feces like a normal dinosaur, this impressive bird poops out clams that can be a source of Silica Pearls and rarely, even Black Pearls. And if this didn’t impress you, by cloning a Phoenix you can create your own Silica Pearl Farm!

How it works:

  • First of all, tame a Phoenix. It’s not an easy task so don’t worry if you aren’t prepared. Just read the rest of the article.
  • Collect its abnormal feces
  • Extract the Silica Pearls

4. Giant Beaver Dams

While it isn’t the best method for getting Silica Pearls, this is a great alternative if you are searching for many other resources like wood or cementing paste. Harvesting a Giant Beaver Dam is not a 100% efficient way of collecting your pearls because your luck plays an important role here. Some Dams can give you a nice quantity of pearls, while others will be a little disappointing. Either way, it doesn’t hurt to give this a try as long as you watch your back. Castoroides will surely attack after you open its inventory, so be prepared for combat!

How it works:

  • Find a Beaver Dam near the places wild Castoroides spawn in
  • Harvest the Dam
  • Throw the wood on the ground instead of living it in the Dams’ inventory. A Beaver Dam will not restock, but if you take out the wood you will destroy the structure and the Castoroides will have no choice but to rebuild it

3. Snow Biome

If you prefer the cold weather and are equipped with fur armor, collecting Silica Pearls can’t get any easier than this. Simply fly to a Snow Biome with your flying mount and discover incredible sources of Silica Pearls organized in clams. In each clamp can be found around 2-4 pearls and the easiest way to collect them is by hand. If you want to step up your game a little, try using a Direwolf for harvesting better amounts. This is one of the safest ways to get the pearls, as spawns are uncommon in this area and you only need to make short incursions into the water. Don’t waste your time and explore the cold seas as soon as you need some Silica Pearls.

How it works:

  • Use a flying mount to discover the Snow Biome
  • Make short incursions into the sea so you don’t freeze to death
  • Collect amazing amounts of pearls

2. Trilobites/ Eurypterid/Leech

Are you a newbie that just wants to find a simple, easy way to get Silica Pearls in order to craft a Scuba Mask or your favorite Saddle? A safe place to establish a base, especially at the beginning, is the beach. That means you are all settled and you only need to craft a spear/ a stone pick to kill some Trilobites. Look for the Trilobites in the water or even on land. After killing them, don’t forget to harvest their corpses using your hands/ the stone pick, as the spear will not be effective. See? It can be as simple as that. Moreover, when you feel more prepared, you can also harvest Leeches (found in the swamp) or Eurypterids (found on the ocean floor).

How it works:

  • Explore the beach and find some Trilobites
  • Kill them as efficiently as you can
  • Harvest their corpses using a Stone Axe/hands and collect your Silica Pearls

1. Anglerfish

This method is the winner when it comes to farming Silica Pearls. The Anglerfish is a deep-sea exploring mount that can help you find the best sources of pearls on the bottom of the ocean or even in underwater caves. Using its incredible lighting ability, this fish can guide your way and illuminate an area of over 40 foundations in diameter. Do you need more info to convince yourself? The Anglerfish has the best gain per action when harvesting pearls and even has river access so your possibilities are limitless. Don’t be fooled by his small dimensions. When you are in need, it can be an awesome combatant too!

How it works:

  • Tame an Anglerfish. Not a piece of cake, but you will surely succeed with some effort
  • Go to a place rich in Silica Pearls ( the bottom of the ocean, rivers, underwater caves)
  • Use your fish to farm an incredible quantity of pearls
