Watering crops is a crucial part of creating and growing a farm. As a beginner, you’ll have to water the plants manually, but as you get higher levels and unlock more engrams, irrigation systems will become available. There is another article on that topic. For the moment, let’s talk about the classic way of watering a crop plot. It’s as easy as it sounds, but this short guide is here to make sure everything is clear. For this action, you have to craft a crop plot and plant the seed. Keep in mind that if you want to grow a plant, water isn’t enough. You’ll also need fertilizer.
How it works:
- Fill a waterskin or jar with water
- Open the crop plot’s inventory
- Transfer the waterskin to its inventory
- Select the item and click on the button “Remotely Use Item”
- Make sure your plant always has water and fertilizer
