1 - Resident Evil Village
2021 (Microsoft Windows/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Stadia/Xbox One/Xbox Series X and S)
(That gives me big badass energy, I think you know what I mean)
What Is It About: Experience survival horror like never before in the 8th major installment in the Resident Evil franchise - Resident Evil Village. With detailed graphics, intense first-person action, and masterful storytelling, the terror has never felt more realistic.
Again, we reconnect with Ethan and now we are in search of his daughter and wife. But I think the most iconic element is Lady Dimitrescu, a vampire lady whom many think is very hot. I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

2 - The Last of Us Part I
2013 (PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4/Microsoft Windows)
(Joel looks pretty pissed, but he always looks pissed so)
What Is It About: Experience the emotional storytelling and unforgettable characters in The Last of Us™, winner of over 200 Game of the Year awards.
In a ravaged civilization, where infected and hardened survivors run rampant, Joel, a weary protagonist, is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of a military quarantine zone. However, what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal cross-country journey.
Games with a good storyline often make great television shows, says me. But seriously, this game is just the beginning of something amazing and heartbreaking and human to the core. The story is just so investing and the trauma that makes us and the characters bond together is priceless.

Choose this game if you like:
- Great cinematic filming.
- Characters that you emotionally connect with.
- A variety of weapons for you to chose from.

3 - The Devil in Me
2022 (PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4/Xbox One/Xbox Series X and Series S/PlayStation VR2/Microsoft Windows)
(Oh, her face has the look of a very excited woman to say at this hotel.)
What it’s about: A group of documentary filmmakers receives a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H. H. Holmes' "Murder Castle." As they film their latest episode, they slowly begin to realize that things are not quite as they seem and that they are being watched and manipulated.
This game will bring you back to an old memory of H.H. Holmes, the first serial killer in the USA, and the gameplay will make you feel like a modern-day victim of a copycat. You’ll play with a lot of charismatic characters and try to make all of them come out of the hotel alive. Have fun trying to save or torture the characters!
(The Devil in Me trailer)
Choose this game if you like:
- Your choice matters, and you will have to be very careful and attentive; if not, maybe your favorite character will die.

Fun Factor: 100/100
4 - The Quarry
2022 (PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4/Xbox One/Xbox Series X and Series S/Microsoft Windows)
(That place looks great for Jason to make friends, just saying.)
What it’s about: When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror. The only thing worse than the blood-soaked locals and creatures hunting them is the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.
The game starts like any other horror movie cliche: there are dumb teenagers doing teenagers' stuff. And then all of a sudden there’s a crazy dude with an ax trying to murder everyone. For me, this game is like "Friday the 13th," but a lot better and with more realism. So yeah, you can experience what it is to be hunted down and murdered!
(The Quarry trailer)
Choose this game if you like:
- There’s a Movie Mode that lets you choose the way the story goes and enjoy it without playing.

5 - The Last of Us Part II
2020 (PlayStation 4)
(She’s definitely her father’s daughter)
What it’s about: Set five years after The Last of Us (2013), the game focuses on two playable characters in a post-apocalyptic United States whose lives intertwine: Ellie, who sets out in revenge for a murder, and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict between her militia and a religious cult.
This storyline is definitely one of my favorite ones of all time. Ellie is just so blind by revenge, same as Abby, and they both just want justice for their dads in this horrible world. I really liked the ending. We see that not everything is black and white and we also see Abby continuing the trajectory of taking care of innocent and young children we found in the way.
(The Last of Us Part II trailer)

6 - Resident Evil 2
2019 (PlayStation 4/Nintendo Switch/PlayStation 5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X and Series S/Microsoft Windows/Amazon Luna)
(Okay they have such bi-energy, anyone would jump straight into the outbreak for them)
What Is It About: A deadly virus engulfs the residents of Raccoon City in September of 1998, plunging the city into chaos as flesh-eating zombies roam the streets looking for survivors. An unparalleled adrenaline rush, a gripping storyline, and unimaginable horrors await you. Witness the return of Resident Evil 2.
In this game, you’re going to play as two characters and find yourself immersed in two different storylines full of action. Be careful or you will spend the whole night awake. You can pick which story you begin with and that changes somehow the ending which is a nice detail since this game is not about changing the game through your decisions. And also be careful not to fall madly in love with the two main characters, they're so charismatic and very hot.
(Resident Evil 2 trailer)

8 - Resident Evil 6
2012 (PlayStation 4/Nintendo Switch/Xbox One/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Microsoft Windows)
(Okay every Resident Evil has bi-energy. Look at this cast)
What Is It About: Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
You’ll play 4 different storylines and all of them have a lot of action and a different story for you to get engaged with. And the nice thing is that at some point they cross paths, it is a very smart way of making you anxious to play the next story. It also includes emotional storytelling which just breaks your heart.

Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people he cares about are counting on him.

What it’s about: In this narrative-driven, a third-person survival horror game set 300 years in the future, the player will take on the role of Jacob Lee, a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto.
You are literally living out your future dreams by being in prison. But the prison is on Jupiter’s moon, so, "potato, potahto." So yeah, the prison goes crazy, and there are people turning into monsters. Run for your life and fight your way out of this prison, literally.

14 - House of Ashes
2021 (PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4/Xbox One/Microsoft Windows/Xbox Series X and Series S)
(That skull sure has a vivid imagination)
What Is It About: At the close of the Iraq War, Special Forces hunting for weapons of mass destruction unearth something far deadlier – a buried Sumerian temple containing a nest of unearthly creatures. To survive the night below, they must forge a brotherhood with their enemies from the world above.
A war is happening which is a scary thing in itself. But the most creepy part is that someone, or something, is trying to kill you. I personally played everything with my eyes closed so I didn’t get a lot of clarity (haha) in the matter. But the storyline is very compelling and made in a way tat will definitely give you nightmares.
